You're not serious...Well, she's relatively young and it's 2013. She wasn't exactly participating in sit-ins the week prior.

Does kind of make sense and it goes back to police ineptitude not being her fault. They had this incident all wrong from the start and didn't question Zimmerman.
You're not serious...
They took Zim to the station from the scene and questioned him, I thought?
I might or might not, but the point is, whether I would or not has no bearing on the question of whether my account of the incident is credible.
I should have been more specific. Questioned him as a perp rather than a victim.
Well, it kinda does. However, I am open to the possibility that she might not be from a place where you call the cops. (As Devolution mentioned before)
Not gonna lie, I'm having a hard time following this chick.
Gotcha.
This was Zim's dumbest move. Never talk to police, because the stuff they asked him as a 'victim' is being used as the meat of the case against him for murder. LAWYER UP, and never talk to police, people!

Lots of theys, them, her, etc..Not gonna lie, I'm having a hard time following this chick.
Also, she lied about why she didn't attend the wake. She said she was at the hospital, but she wasn't. She didn't go because she didn't want to see the body.
I didn't catch her explanation for why she lied about it.
Ack young woman! Don't talk without them asking questions!

I guess this is how they bring in all their victims.
We all no the police fucked up here. But that's no reason to make shit up.
When it is know that somebody killed somebody, the onus is then on them to establish self-defense.
So calling Zimmerman a killer is completely warranted until his defense came exonerate him.
If one feels that one is innocent they are more likely to talk straight up. One shouldn't have anything to hide in that situation. Whether he is guilty or innocent, he'd want to appear so, regardless and so is going to cooperate.
Her whole testimony is kind of painful to listen to she is pretty nervous and they are talking about her friend who was killed so I can understand it's hard for her. But her lisp or whatever it is along with slang makes it even worse.
Actually, the onus is on prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Nice try though.

I think basically what people are trying to say is that there are plenty of reasons why the girl wouldn't have wanted/known to call the police with the information. It could be anything from simple trepidation to misunderstanding/confusion.
Personally, the more I see her talk the more I feel like it was a bunch of reasons in one. She seems uncomfortable with talking to authoritative figures in general, she seems to have a poor understanding of how the system works, she seemed to have assumed that a fight wasn't a reason to call the cops and all in all was just out of the loop.
I'm not making bullshit up since they obviously bought his story and didn't probe further. That's kind of the whole point.
He did kill an unarmed teen without any provocation at all.
Er, we don't know that. That's kind of what this trial is about.

It's up to the defense to prove it was a killing in self-defense.
I personally think that since if he had just called the police and remained in his vehicle, no one would have died or been even been arrested (though, to be honest, Travon might have been for walking while black) he's kinda a fault here. Can you at least agree with that?
Actually, the onus is on prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Nice try though.
No, all the defense has to do is provide reasonable doubt that it wasn't murder. Sorry.
If every time anyone you knew called the cops about something ended up either arrested themselves, ignored, or injured, would you call the cops over something that could have been nothing?
Plus she was in Miami, not Sanford. And even if she did call 911 (in Miami) and they asked her what happened and where, do you think she had the address or the name of the neighborhood? And even if she did, how long would it have taken for the dispatch to happen?I think basically what people are trying to say is that there are plenty of reasons why the girl wouldn't have wanted/known to call the police with the information. She's getting pissed at defense counsel.
He's a killer.
It's up to the defense to prove it was a killing in self-defense.
It's up to the prosecution to prove it wasn't and that he's a murderer as well.
No, all the defense has to do is provide reasonable doubt that it wasn't murder. Sorry.
I think he should have done things differently. Based on the evidence, I don't believe he's a murderer.

Oh wait, so you aren't assuming that Trayvon was innocent until proven guilty of attacking Zimmerman?
That sounds biased to me.
He'll be a killer whether or not he's proven guilty of murder. But you just keep coming back to being unable to parse words.

Also, what could she have said? "Hi, I was on the phone with my friend who was out of town somewhere visiting his step-family and I heard a scuffle. I don't know anything else. Kthxbye."

Does that really matter? I mean if this were anyone you care about you do everything you can to help them. Your thought process right there is much deeper than anything this chick has going on she thought the real world worked like a TV show man your giving her to much credit.
From everything you are posting, though, you are kinda picking and choosing what 'evidence' to believe, and completely throwing out testimony on the fact that the witness lying when you have NO evidence of that, ya know?
What indisputable evidence do you have that Zimmerman's testimony is a lie?
Yeah, but it's possible he'll be a free killer if the prosecution doesn't prove it was murder beyond a reasonable doubt.
