You ever notice how the PS+ updates on the blog almost always seem to go up after 10AM PST, yet the first comments on the posts are always timestamped at either 8AM or 9AM PST?
Didn't know this. Did Mechner help? If not, I'm probably still not interested. (Sands of Time was the only one worth a damn from the PS2-era trilogy. They gave it a good shot with Two Thrones, but it ultimately came up short.)

I guess the basic questions for me are:
- Does it sufficiently improve the combat of SoT? (I would presume so. SoT was fun to play once for the combat, but upon a second playing it the battles are interminable and have limited variation in moves. In a word: boring.)
- Does the story hold up to the one in SoT? The characters and writing in SoT were really quite good, in my opinion. Just that opening speech gets me every time:
Knowing the events leading up to the ending, this takes on particularly important meaning.

not 100%, but on vita pretty sure once you sign in as a different user, the games wont be playable anymore. As for saves, id imagine it be both on the cloud and card. Did you try signing off your vita to see if the games worked?

You can't play games from different accounts on the Vita.
Some saves are on the actual game cartridge, you can tell because you can't upload them to the PS+ cloud storage without the game in the system. Others aren't. And I don't know if the saves are tied to accounts, but I think they are.
Basically, bug Sony to let people change their PSN name.

I got my free trial by doing the E3 quest thing on Home. I think that ran out yesterday, though.

When the blog posts are delayed (which let's be honest happens from time to time) I always get worried that I'm going to be disappointed by whatever is revealed.

Disagree wholeheartedly. Forgotten Sands, while enjoyable, is entirely forgettable. Warrior Within remains the pinnacle of PoP platforming and I'd argue has the most interesting combat mechanics as well.

Ah man, this sucks, I wanted to redeem one of my 1 month trial codes today since it's the last day to get Deus Ex, but it's showing up as invalid. By the time I resolve with the ebay seller who sent it it'll probably be too late. Blech, I really wanted to try the game out!
This is worse than waiting for the Steam sale to change everyday!

They usually update by now. When they're late, it means it's a crap month.
The odd thing about PS+ for me is that eventually I probably buy the free game physically anyway since juggling disk space and dealing with d/l times is a small hassle. But even then it is still so best. It's like Sony is drawing us in with a siren's song at the bottom of the sweetest smelling pitcher plant full of treasure; this can't go on forever.

I really hope this isn't the case. Joked with a friend earlier that we were going to get an old FPS like Modern Warfare or Black Ops out of nowhere (not attempting to offend anyone who likes those games). I hope there is something worthwhile in the update.

Every time I see this thread updated I think we'll know what the games for July are only to leave disappointed.
Of course I just did that to someone else..
That was an accident, though I wouldn't be surprised to see it show up again as an actual monthly title.
