"gaming experience" can be upgraded and improved over time.. I mean look at the 360..
hardware can't be.
so basing your "experience" with what is out in Oct/Nov 2013 probably won't be at all representative of what is out in Oct/Nov 2016. With that being said, IMHO it's smarter to base on (for early adopters) what can't change rather than what can change.
Uh...but wouldn't that stance be a negative for Sony? I'm hearing a 7/1RAM ratio for games/everything else.
Wasn't that the exact reason why PS3 couldn't keep up with 360 in regards to UI/OS/feature upgrades?
Because they didn't reserver enough RAM from the start, where 360 reserved more then they where using at the start?
Listen, I get you have a preference based on current information, and that is fine, I'm not tying to sway anybody anywhere.
I think they both look great, and each offers me value that I can get behind at current price points.
But I'm not going to decide now which is going to be my go to system this gen for multiplats, there are many more factors for me that must be present before I know this, and the majority of those factors can not be discovered until I get hands on.
Trust me, you are our favorite type of customer. You come into our store, already dead set on buying, we don't have to demo, we don't have to do a walk around, we don't have to explain features/benefits, we just have to negotiate a price, and sell you the car.
I wish all our customers where like that, would make things much easier on us.
