Alright, so I really like arcade racers (Burnout Paradise and Blur are some of my favorite games this gen) and don't really like racing sims (I was never able to get through Forza 2, my last attempt at a racing sim). The most 'demanding' driving model I ever enjoyed was Driver: San Francisco's.

Also, none of my friends play games, so I have nobody to share track times/highscores/etc. with, and if I'm not mistaken the social aspect was one of the selling points of the game.

Should I get Forza Horizon? I heard it was not as much as a racing sim and the 'main' Forza series, but I don't really know how far in either direction it goes.

EDIT: Oh, and I don't have Live Gold.

Yes you should. I also enjoyed blur and burnout paradise, so I'm getting horizon right now.

Forza Horizon is more like Test Drive Unlimited with better handling and none of the Sims/clothes/buying houses type stuff

Horizon is probably my favorite title on the 360. I just purchased it again. Trading in my disc copy on Friday. So stoked to not need the disc anymore.

Witcher 2 for 10 $ is a must buy for anyone with SOME interested in a RPG.
One of the best games the XBOX got in recent years.

This sale is hurting my wallet so bad. Bought TOB, Forza Horizon, L4D2, Prey, Mass Effect, and Borderlands 2 so far. $50 or so dollars for all dat game.

I'm hoping for Rising to be $10 or $15. Crysis was the same price, I think, and it dropped to $15. These prices have gone lower than I expected. The only one that I've very confident won't fail below $20 is Bioshock.

This has nothing to do with drm. Game sharing is already available on ps3 and if you don't want to buy discs than just go day 1 digital. And they could had these type of sales years ago.

Portal 2 was in the last sale. I was surprised to see that they put OB and L4D2 up again, but Portal 2 wasn't there. You should buy both P2 and Horizon, though. Tell yourself you got them each for $10 if it helps.

Nice price for Forza Horizon.I hope Judgement will cost the same.I felt so ripped off when I bought Judgement new for around $50 that I sold it out but 1200MSP will be accurate price for this game.It wasn't that bad in itself but there was serious lack of content.

Seriously. People seem to be forgetting the pretty dismal Deal of the Weeks that were being touted as great savings for so long. Crappy discounts AND frequent repeats of past discounted games/DLC. Microsoft didn't really start having these great sales until the last few years of the generation.

Wasn't Forza $15? Anyway it was available in the US only at that price. Canadians have had it priced at $59.99 since it came out in retail. I was reluctant to buy the game knowing it was priced *way* cheaper in another territory. And now, I've taken the plunge.
