People complaining about the robots in Pacific Rim requiring two pilots can suck it. I mean, really...it's giant robots fighting monsters from another dimension and THAT is what is going to break your suspension of disbelief? C'mon son.

Totally!! For any Seattle Pacific Rim GAF, I'll be seeing this on Thursday the 11th at 10pm at Regal Thornton Place Cinemas, 3D IMAX.
If there was only one pilot per mech the movie would've sucked. Once you see it there is no way you'll say "should've had one pilot."

The IMAX 3D trailer looked amazing, so I can only assume that the full movie will be the same.
I really hope that they're doing a midnight showing of this at the local IMAX. We have our Saints Row Wrap party on the 12th, so if I don't get to see it at midnight, I doubt I'll be in any shape to see it Friday night.

Awesome, this is one film that feels like 3D would work awesome glad to hear, and hope for good impressions to the 3D as well as film.

Going to see this on the 14th in glorious Doly 3D-converted-to-2D-by-some-lens-swapped-glasses because my theater of choice won't be showing it in 2D and 3D just gives me double vision. So not as soon as I'd like to be seeing it, and not an ideal showing, but I'm still expecting some entertaining giant robot battles and lots of noise.
It's still going to totally bomb, though. Literally nobody else has reserved tickets for that showing yet, which isn't a good sign.
