Well Vitor and Okami have been wrecking everyone else in the division who had title aspirations, Weidman got lucky and didn't have to fight either of course. Only other guys on a good streak right now are Costa Philippou and Jacare. There was also talk of Mousasi dropping to middleweight which would be an awesome matchup.

I am proud to say that I was in the crowd for that Silva/Belfort fight.. Funny thing is my buddy next to me kept yelling out "KICK HIM IN THE LIPS" during every fight from the first prelim onward. So we were definitely busting out laughing when Andy did just that.

I think Silva will win by K.O, I think it will be a awesome fight i'd love it to be like the first Silva - Sonnen and with everyone saying how strong Weidman is as a wrestler and how unlike Sonnen he actually has the ability to do damage to Silva once he gets him down. And listening to the Pre Scrum. I don't see how anyone can compare the UFC to the NFL/MLB/NBA. It doesn't have the revenue, fan fare/audience or legacy. I think I saw an NBA Finals game had 14 million viewers.
I get that the fighters are underpaid. But it's going to be awhile until we have "league" minimum contracts. Also, all of those organizations have unions for the athletes and referees.

I think a lot of these quotes from fighters saying that Weidman has a chance at beating Anderson are all part of one big snow job by the UFC to make this fight seem like something other than a one-sided beatdown by A. Silva.
