hehe i showed my mom the trailer and even she said it was a transformers rip-off. how the fuck do people see transformers when there is no transforming :/ but my mom is a transformers fan so....

There wasn't much transforming shown in the Transformers trailers either. Basically, people see big robots wrecking shit, they think Transformers.

Yeah, I'm not expecting this movie to be perfect; I just want a fun, well-shot robotic romp. It's a bit of a bummer that apparently
Cherno Alpha and Crimson Typhoon don't get nearly the screentime as the others though 
This comes out in the UK on the 12th, which isn't a very convenient day to travel here in Northern Ireland. Going to save it for the 20th now, which is a friends birthday.

It's not on Avatar levels or movies that are solely made for 3D. Stuff doesn't fly out at you constantly, but it is good enough. Didn't detract from the movie and that's the only thing I was worried about.

Going to see this with a bunch of coworkers right after work on Thursday night in IMAX 3D. Can. not. be. more. hyped. for this. Any word on if the 3D is halfway decent? Sort of getting tired of getting to watch big movies in IMAX and stuck having to watch them in lackluster 3D.
Only movies to date that have been worth seeing in IMAX 3D or normal 3D are AVATAR, How to Train a Dragon, and Hugo.

A teaser trailer for the game is out and yeah, it looks muddy as heck (dat lightning effect on Cherno Alpha's fists). I might still buy it just to support the franchise though.
