Hey Gang:
Good to see some community outreach taking place here. Just wanted to mention that we are actively listening to feedback from our users and your comments here are indeed being parsed and I will certainly do my best to share your sentiments with my compatriots and those higher up on the ladder to help inform their decisions.
Kudos to all for being true 'agents of change.' In the darkness a single candle flame can provide the illumination needed to find the path to truth. I am humbled to be surrounded by so many paths of guiding light here.

Haven't these people learned anything from:
Xbox Live hacks
PSN hacks
Your internet provider downtime
Router Failure
Simcity
Diablo III
and every online game that has had the servers shut down because it's no longer profitable
I really think 99% of the people who still want online-only are people who just sit around and play competitive online games exclusively. They already consider an internet connection required to play.
Yes ..There are definitely people out there who are serious about this.
The petition reminded me of a blog post by an Austrian Microsoft employee.
Just read the post and the comments...

BillyBats said:Why is the DRM such a big deal to people? I've never had a problem with it. Isn't it a system just to make sure that the game is legit?
Jomjom said:Looking forward to DRM which will prevent piracy and used games which will result in more dev/pub profits, which in turn will mean more and better games for us!
Four_Chamber said:In the end, if Microsoft smooths out their message about DRM just bit (and they have plenty of time) , this will be the gaming console to purchase without a doubt.

what movie is that gif from?
Think about it...there's a DRM defense force.
Such a notion would be unthinkable outside of corporate meeting rooms, but here we are.

Yes, you could have full shared games with up to ten people. They removed that when they reversed the DRM.

Why is so hard to just have both offline disc games and the online sharing (DRM) version?
It's beyond sad.So loyal are people to their brands... It is truly sad.
