What I find funnier than the lame selection in the NA Club Nintendo is how everything gets sold out within hours if not minutes.
The Kirby pin set was available for months in the JP Club Nintendo. It sold out in an hour in the NA. Something similar happened with the recent Mario accesory bag and the Mario/Luigi hat 3DS pouches. The 3DS card case is still available in Japan, but it sells out in a day when they re-stock it in NA.

I think like two pages back someone listed the dates they've put up the rewards and the latest date was July 14th.

My theory: Because the rewards here suck, most people have a surplus of coins from redeeming nothing. When something good actually comes out, everyone jumps on it. Wouldn't be surprised if stock was lower than it was in Japan too.
The only thing of worth from NoA Club Nintendo is the free game downloads. (Which is admittedly pretty great)

but seriously, the reason it's taking so long is probably so they don't draw attention away from the promotion right now. in light of this, my amended guess would be a day or two after SMT4 releases, so ~Thursday

There's probably more people to feed prizes to, more people have coins due to shitty selection of prizes and Nintendo releasing the 3dsxl and WiiU this club nintendo year, and NoA sucks. They couldn't even keep the pikachu 3dsxl in stock for more than a day at many places.
I have just been spending my points on VC games, since I doubt we will ever get a whiff of the good stuff Japan gets.

The great thing is when they add new rewards they'll sell out in an hour because there's nothing good to buy now besides old VC games.
You know I thought they would do that for wii u owners but I think they gave us the 30 cent promotion instead. Hope not, I've had it collecting dust since launch lol.

Of course I had most of the ambassador games too but those weren't on 3DS before then. I feel like the WiiU is in a position to get some ambassador stuff like the 3DS was but who knows.
I would take that over anything any day, seriously, I doubt many people would grumble at this point considering how frustrating it is to get Nintendo to listen.
