So all the people who were fired/demoted because they didn't think they had enough to convict... are they going to get their jobs back for being 100% correct?
If this were a fair and just world, yes.

Jury made the right call. Tragic incident overall but at the end of the day, all of the evidence pointed to Zimmerman acting in self defense.
Mark O'Mara and Don West did a great job.
As a black male, what's fair is fair. Trayvon wasn't an angel, if someone has authority over you.. no need to feel like you are above them and escalate a situation.
You guys are way way way to attached to something so stupid. In a week you'll forget about this.
Disgusting. Simply disgusting how this was handled directly from the start. Goddamn Florida.
Except that Zimmerman isn't white. The "white on black" narrative is appealing to many, but really isn't appropriate here.
Yeah it does and unfortunately with change comes bloodshed.I hope so. This country needs serious change
Define "innocent". He killed someone beating the shit out of him.He killed an innocent person.
The jury believed it was self defense. That is how our justice system works. We are only seeing pieces. Most of you get your information from the media and third party sources. You may not be happy with the verdict, but they system worked.
What in the fuck are you even talking about my dude?

.No evidence = No conviction. The system works, as far as that's concerned. Prosecution did a great job with what they had, but O'Mara and West put forward a great defense.
Civil suit to come, I'm sure.
Now, I hope we can turn our attention to the gun laws in our communities that help lead to pointless deaths like this.
You guys are way way way to attached to something so stupid. In a week you'll forget about this.
So Zimmerman deserve to go to jail? Trayvon was the aggressor as pointed out, situation could've been avoided IMO. You guys may be mad oh well.
No, it does not. The circumstances of this case were very unique, which is exactly why it received so much attention.
This I'd agree with--the mind-blowing part of the whole thing is that there's zero question that Zimmerman killed a kid, and zero question that he essentially started the sequence of events by chasing him down. But, legally, the prosecution had to prove the unprovable beyond a reasonable doubt, because just proving that he did it and he started it wasn't enough.
The news commentator on the livestream I watched mentioned that he thought the defense had the argument won on the legal side of things, but that the prosecution had it on the moral side of things. And it's frustrating that there's such a wide gulf between the two in this case.

People aren't just upset because someone they probably don't know got away with murder, they're upset because a precedent has been set.You guys are way way way to attached to something so stupid. In a week you'll forget about this.
He is white. Hispanic is not a race.
He didn't do anythingSo he didn't get charged with anything?
Fuck this miserable earth.
You know what's fucking terrifying? What you wrote isn't even hyperbole... this is literally the precedent that has been set with this verdict.Good, now I will carry a gun, instigate a fight, and shoot the person I harassed and then claim self-defense. I know I will be declared innocent.
totally shameful and disgusting
Define "innocent". He killed someone beating the shit out of him.

Nah. sadly my friends. This verdict is just more of the same for blacks. Injustice time and time again. There will be no rioting because as far as Florida is concerned.... nothing has changed.

Exactly. Some people don't give a shit and/or lack empathy at all.Majorly overoptimistic. :/

I don't really understand why they shot for a murder charge. Just not enough evidence.
You mean aside from openly kill a 17 year old?He didn't do anything
He killed a 17 year old while playing cops and robbers.
