World of Warcraft is live action, btw, for those asking.

It looks GREAT. Very gritty and realistic.

Most likely, they will start from the beginning, like before events of the WC3 and the entire WoW story clusterfuck.

I never saw Source Code, but Moon was god damn fantastic! I don't think this movie will be good seeing how silly the source material is and I reckon they'll have to change a lot of stuff so mainstream audiences will accept it. Like for example, more practical armor for females lol.

Actually this project has nothing to do with Warner Bros since Legendary didn't re=up their deal with the studio.

Legendary are producing and financing the project with Universal distributing it worldwide.

Though I wonder if it will be a pre-WoW story, not much interesting were going on in WoW when it comes to the Warcraft plot. That or the sense of it were ruined by all the players in colorful costumes.

2015 is shaping up to be an absurd year for big budget blockbuster movies. I mean, this is really getting silly. Some of these will end up getting delayed... right?
