The Legend of Zelda live-action film will release worldwide March 26, 2027

If anyone still have doubts about Nintendo doesn't have input into the movies.

Weeks back they confirmed young Link and Zelda for the trilogy!

Edit: what other films? Metroid? Please!!

A Splatoon live action mad max style directed by that guy from Dune.

The acquisition and renaming of Dynamo Pictures to Nintendo Pictures is definitely in line with what Furukawa is saying here. They acquired them shortly before the release of the Super Mario Bros. Movie in 2022. It makes sense that if they want to maintain control of their IPs that they'd invest in a in-house animation and production studio.

I don't care if they do they're some IP I have zero attention of watching in live action.

People are praising One Piece live action I can't even stand looking at its trailer let alone watch the whole thing.

No good can come of this. When a show or movie is bad enough, it can retroactively color my impression of a game. Look at TLOU. Even Part 1 is tinted by the stink of the show for me.
They followed the story! Everyone knew killing Joe off was bad. Part 2 story was bad too! 🤷‍♂️

There's already millions of One Piece movies and still ongoing anime based on the manga. It's ok to venture into a different media. 🤷‍♂️

The rumored or names being thrown for these roles has been older actors around 30 or older!

Which made no sense!
It's because not many people know the indie film scene nor do they know of younger actors.

Plus, even when they make it into a show or movie, younger actors tend to get cast more in young adult genres like drama and romance, which are genres that are largely ignored by most audiences until they massively spike in popularity. Some of them can even have large fanbases out there and entire audiences would never realize this or be aware of it in general. For example, Ginny and Georgia, Heart Break High, and to a somewhat lesser extent, Outer Banks:

It's partially why Marvel tried so hard (and failed) to grab that audience with Kamala Khan since Peter Parker barely had 1.5 movies that actually took place in a high school.

Regardless, whoever plays these Zelda roles will become memorable names after the fact, like how these things tend to happen, especially if they do a great job and the writing is there.

Sure but I will not watch the live action version. The biggest thing that attracted me to Once Piece in the first place was artstyle and character design.

Even if it is actually good? It doesn't really make sense to have this attitude towards live action adaptations if they're done right.

I tired to watch it but I couldn't stand it...it felt so awkward and weird....for me it felt watching movie about people cosplaying as One Piece characters. I LOVE One Piece but live action version is big no for me, the artyle and character design is big reason why I love One Piece.

Also I'm type of person who enjoys animation waaaay more than live action....I recently watch trailer for upcoming Chainsaw movie and it was so fucking good.
