this is like telling a straight person they're sexists for not liking or being into someone of their own gender
Yeah but if youre applying a physical characteristic to an entire race, then thats stereotyping and that is racist. If you're attracted to someone, and reject them based on their race, that's racism. If you aren't attracted to a physical characteristic, there's nothing you can do about it, that's just how it is.

Outside of hardcore racists, I expect most preference (or disinterest) is based on cultural expectations.
So probably not.
Except for the fact that it really isn't.this is like telling a straight person they're sexists for not liking or being into someone of their own gender

But what do you mean by 'beautiful'? Does physical beauty involve some kind of physical characteristics? How are those characteristics any less shallow and subjective than race? Thanks for answering the question (and to the others who answered it). I guess that's fair. I just have difficulty relating because to me, beautiful is beautiful.

I'll go on to argue that it's perfectly valid to judge a potential mate on their culture too. It's an influence on their values, and ultimately their personality.
Like, I'd never date a juggalo.
But there are certain features that are very common within a "race" or are associated with a race. If you're specifically not attracted to that characteristic, and it's widely applicable within a given "race", then is that still racism?Yeah but if youre applying a physical characteristic to an entire race, then thats stereotyping and that is racist.
ie. 'Im no attracted to greek people because they have huge noses'
When it comes to Serena I like the darkness but dislike the muscle. The ass and legs are fine, but her shoulders are too bulky.I know people who don't like Serena Williams because she's 'too dark' but idgi. It's never been a thing for me. She's hot. Dat muscle
I find it hard to believe someone that isn't racist couldn't find anyone from an entire race attractive.

This is an interesting question.
My answer would be I guess it depends on how you aren't attracted. If you aren't attracted simply because of darker skin or whatever, then...maybe?
On the flip side, is it racist to be MORE attracted to a particular race?

Nope not most of the time.
Half Hispanic Half Asian is sexy as fuck though.

This reminds me of when Alexis Texas said she won't fuck black dudes. Like, really? You fuck everyone.

Saying your not attracted to a specific race, is racist.
Saying your generally not attracted to a specific race, isn't.
Having a preference is perfectly fine, and if your not generally attracted to a phenotype usually associated with a certain race, that is also fine. But to say your not attracted to all members of a certain race is ridiculous, seeing as how there's so much variation within each race, that I guarantee that anyone who says they would never date a certain race, would find at least one person of that race that they find attractive in this world.

This isn't like that all.
I agree that having a preference isn't racist, but how is what (s)he said racist? This is actually racist, but having a preference shouldn't be racist.
No but I don't see how you can find beautiful people unattractive just because of their skin color
It's more the facial features/bone structure than skin color, for me. I'm a nose guy and I like a certain kind of nose that you just don't find on some races.
I agree that having a preference isn't racist, but how is what (s)he said racist?

Well 'widely applicable' doesnt mean all. If for example someone said 'hey let me hook you up with my black friend' and you said 'Dont bother, I already know she'll have this physical characteristic that I wont like' well then...But there are certain features that are very common within a "race" or are associated with a race. Yeah, I got that after I replied. No, i meant that not finding even a single person from a specific race attractive is racist. Not what the poster said.
