Anyone else think that infamous second son is the best looking next gen exclusive?

I'm torn between Second Son and Kill Zone Shadow fall they both look awesome form graphic and gameplay perspective.
Wtf is this? Is every open world game automatically in the same genre or something? In what fucking world is inFamous in direct competition with either GTA or Watch Dogs? Because I don't recall any superhero powers in either of those games. Just because a game is open world does not mean it's in competition with other open world games. I mean if it did, The Crew would be in competition with The Division.
I disagree, I like the particle effects but it feels like they overdid it just to yell NEXTGEN!! our loud.
The motion blur is really good too. It looks very fluid in motion with high quality blur at 60fps. It's not all that complex but the mix of the effects abd framerate at 1080p looks clearly above this gen when it's in motion, not so much in screens.

the division looks excellent,but after some ubisoft fiascos i reserve my opinion about the game

As it stands, Second Son is the best looking open world game in development. Watch Dogs still looks great, but has taken a hit with its downgrades.
Ehh. Looks like a high end current gen PS3 title to me. I'm betting the gameplay's gonna be rad as fuck, but the art direction and graphics aren't WOW! ing me like KI, The Division, and The Crew are.

I don't think it's the best looking (KZ: SF, Deep Down, and The Division impressed me more visually), but I do think it's the most technically impressive considering it looks that good, has so much much going on at once and is completely open world.

Considering what type of game it is it looks absolutely incredible. There's only so much you can do to spiff up fighting games.

I have Sleeping Dogs on PC and play it on maximum settings. It looks better than Sleeping Dogs for sure.

The particles effects in this game is crazy so yes is the best looking exclusive game but at the same time the game looks fun to play.
It's kinda easy to have impressive graphics on such a small scale as a fighting game with a total of two rendered characters. InFamous is open world and not at all comparable.

It definitely looked the most impressive to me so far, it's a shame it isn't a launch title.
Quantum Break also looked really good, hopefully we'll get some actual gameplay soon.

Yeah, I'd go with KI and inFamous. Both look great. Hopefully inFamous keeps a steady framerate, as I'm sure KI will.

Why are fighting games even in such a discussion? It's not even fair based on how much you actually have to render. KI will look ridiculously amazing as any 3D fighting game with limited scope and 1080p/60hz should.

Yeah, 30fps just hurts games that have such good animation from a visual standpoint for me. I wouldn't mind if it were something like Silent Hill which always looks like jank in motion, but inFamous actually takes some care into it's fluidity. It's hard for me to get hyped for 30fps unless the game just looks completely insane, which I haven't ran across yet at all.
KI has the butter. Thank the heavens for fighters.

I have a feeling exclusives are going to fall by the graphical wayside next-gen. Very few of them impress me. The best looking games are actually mostly third party now (Crysis 3, Project CARS, BF4, Watch Dogs etc).

Ryse doesn't get much credit because the game kinda looks like it's on rails. Not to mention all the canned QTE gameplay.Well it's Ryse for me
What they've shown so far looks like a tech demo that was turned into a game last minute.

There are already a lot of great looking next gen games and they are all coming out soon. Much better than last gen imo where we had a pretty good looking PGR3 and thats it until Oblivion came out. Then the PS3 had shit like Genji. Personally I think KZ, especially the city sections is the best.

Can people stop mention Forza 5 because the car models and lighting engine doesn't even match that of GT6 which is a PS3 game.

i've been begging for over 5 years.
It looks pretty but if the past games are any indication it will be boring and repetitive so the 'shiny polish' will ultimately not mean much.
For my money The Witcher 3 is the best looking overall game. But since it's not an exclusive I guess it doesn't qualify for your little competition.

Ryse and forza look like next gen games, but forza's full of trickery and lacks time of day, and ryse is on rails, with a decent draw distance, but still seems to vary little. maybe the more open areas will be more impressive to me.
Quantum break looked the best of microsofts games, but we didn't even see gameplay, and the faces were no where near as expressive as infamous. Infamous looks like troy baker is actually acting out most of those scenes. Their mocap, and facial mocap, are incredible.
