For those getting this game just be aware that the first 3-4 hours are a bit of a drag. It's about a 15-20 hr game though.
Hope they have some nice options. Game should look beautiful with Anti-Aliasing and smooth FPS. Actually it should look startlingly good.
Please, tell us more about the future.
Some screens
E3 spoiled the ending of this game for me and thanks for that, but I'm still looking forward to it.

I hope the demo isn't the console demo, as it was the worst part of the game
Castlevania for PC?

Seriously. But we know it will be.

You know which part of the game would make an AWESOME demo? The Witch's Tower. Both levels of it. It condenses all good about the game.
Funny how this game gets killed for the framerate but games like Dark Souls and Dragons Dogma get a complete pass. Lords of Shadow dipped but it was never as bad as the Souls games or Dogma. Dark Souls dips were insane and Dogma was maybe the most unoptimized piece of shit I've ever played.
Anyways, for those of you who haven't played it and are open to a new take on Castlevania you're in for a treat. Its got whips and QTEs that as close to GoW as it gets. If GoW wasn't shit it would probably be like LoS. Hell, GoW is a fucking Rygar clone.
I'll be fucking get this!

There was never not an instance of people bitching endlessly about Blighttown in Dark Souls.
I have to disagree a bit, sure the game is awesome, and the story was cool, but it was the epilogue that threw me off balance, it was totally unexpected. The ending is overrated. There's a cool twist but it is far from the best thing about the game.

well this is indeed troublesome, I noticed how most hack n slash // action adventure titles demos suck, it is due to being the beginning of the game where it lacks the depth it offers later on, then again I am not sure one could really explore the combat without starting from square one.
The DmC demo was pretty good about that actually. Gave you enough to play around with the game's mechanics, but not enough to spoil everything.
Too bad it ran like absolute shit and made me decide to wait for the PC version, no matter how long I had to wait.
Not just Blightown. I experienced massive frame-rate drops early in the game. I didn't even get to Blighttown before I stopped playing it.

I have read that this game is about ten billion hours too long. Demo better be fucking fantastic to make me invest time into it.
Has anybody mentioned that this could totally pass as next gen ? Just retitle the thread and see all the fools praise it.

It was a surprise, but it did nothing for me.
Gabriel being Dracula was great -- the scene taking place in modern times was just kind of like, whatever IMO
oh I know how some people have reservation when it comes to modern times, I was skeptical but pushed it away due to faith in MercurySteam.

yup, and I hope we spend some considerable time in old ages as well.As someone said, the ending minutes of LoS (pre-final battle and onwards) has probably the highest density of plot twists ever in all media.
It's not that I was skeptical about it, but rather that I just felt like it was there for the sole reason of being a surprise. However, the sequel may justify it, we'll see.

When will then be now?
What, so you can complain about the game @ 60fps now?![]()
