I just did to you, I'll say it again this list is a launch window owners price and feature guide ;-)
I don't wanna start listing stuff way ahead of release, who knows what Instant Game Collection PS4 will have, PS3 and Vita had tons of shit I don't wanna get into the future.
Not everyone feels the same about the ideas they have (had) for the One. Personally, I was disappointed when they announced they were reversing the DRM'ed disc installs as that would have been better for me. However, if it benefits more people the way it is now then I will deal with it.I understand what you're saying about buying and enjoying it, which is fine. I myself just can't support them because they revealed their true colors with all the DRM garbage and other drivel they were spewing just a few short months ago. I think it all depends on what you believe is Microsoft's ultimate goal and ultimate business strategy. More specifically, how do gamers fit into that strategy? I personally believe their ultimate goal is one in direct opposition to many of the ideals I hold when it comes to gaming. That's why I can't support them. Not going to fault people for buying and enjoying the games. Just saying there's a much bigger picture here.
Well, by the look of things, the Xbox headset looks so much better. In almost surely getting the PS4, but that Xbox headset looks quality especially compared to the earphone like PS one. You've tested them both?
You're underestimating how many people even have access to internet (those who buy games consoles that is), we don't even know how big the day 1 patch/activation will be. And also the problem isn't only that Kinect has to remain plugged in, what happens if the Kinect breaks? They aren't sold separately yet. If Kinect is required for XB1 to function, will we have a brick of a console if Kinect decides to die?
Yea, it's getting rather annoying. It's part of the system, it's not going anywhere.
What are the chances they'll release a Kinect-less Bundle that's $100 cheaper?

But when you buy a product, it's inevitable to become emotionally attached and invested in it. Maybe not to Microsoft per se, but you will become attached to the ecosystem, the games, the people you play with online, etc. That's where the whole feeling of nostalgia comes from in the first place. Looking back on every console I've ever owned, it's easy to see just how attached we are to these systems. Your situation could certainly be different.

Yeah, play and charge kit technically isn't required now since you can play wired and never use batteries. You would need a micro usb cable though.
I like the tidbit about the Kinect sensor acting as a an IR blaster. Hoping the Xbox One will control cable boxes that support HDMI-CEC? Thanks Xbox team for providing a headset in the box. Kinect alone was not an adequate solution. If you expect an extra $100 over your competition, you can't nickel and dime consumers
Still need an $99 Xbox 360 mini that connects to the One providing backwards compatibility to buy the One anytime before 2016. But other than that all my previous complaints have been addressed.

Good news coming at 6am PDT/9am EDT tomorrow on @IGN. That's all I'll say.
Dat power brick!!!
PS4 doesn't have one, right?
My apologies I was referring to the oringnal list post. It never clarified just said "free games after gold"I just did to you, I'll say it again this list is a launch window owners price and feature guide ;-)

You dont need a PS4 to play those games.
You don't need a play and charge kit either since a standard Micro USB cable will work to charge your battery. Now the wireless radio is turned off when you connect the USB and data is sent through the cable (Unlike Xbox 360) that should help quicken the charge.
I got 2x AA batteries in the package when I got the 360, I wonder if they'll include 2x NiMH batteries unless they plan to blow up controllers with some fools connecting micro USB cables while using regular Alkaline batteries.
All they need to do now is include 2x NiMH batteries since standard micro usb cables work to charge the controller, and everything is perfect
Ok fuck this I'm getting both consoles and skipping a GPU upgrade for my PC.![]()
It was a joke lolI'm 99% sure that the percentage I brought up was 100% made up. Thankfully I wasn't stating it as a fact.
What? How do you know that?
Of course it isn't required. He added the Play & Charge kit because the PS4 controller has a rechargeable battery. The controller is something every gamer will use, and a rechargeable battery is important.
They're getting closer and closer to actually delivering on value. I don't know that they'll ever actually over deliver on value like what Mattrick said though.
Wait, are you saying the micro USB connection will charge rechargable AA batteries while they're in the controller? Are you sure that's how it will work? Does the 360 controller currently operate as a rechargable battery recharger when you use standard rechargable batteries and connect the play and charge cable?
how certain are you of this? because personally, I am pretty certain that an xbox without a forced kinect will be out at some point in time, whether you like it or not.
Doubt it. My guess is you'll need the play and Charge battery pack, but who knows.
But they stated that X1 controllers will now charge with a standard micro usb cable, which could mean that the controller will be packed with NiMH batteries, if not, what will happen if you insert Alkaline batteries and plug a USB cable... will your controller explode? yikes.
reminds me of the Plantronics 360 headset.
Larry = corny. If you are listening larry that cool thing you did with the on/off switch is not that cool and please if you ever want someone to believe your bs don'y say the xbox one is beautiful again. Its just not .
You don't need a PS4 to play those either.
