Everyone thinks Hank's sick enough to miss work for a week, it wouldn't be the biggest stretch if he had a rough spell and died.

aaaand we're back to legitimately trying to defend a monster poisoning a child

sorry i decided last year not to debate with future aspiring sociopaths, no offense.

Stop with the sociopath nonsense. If you never liked a bad guy on a show before, then maybe you're the saint among us. However, we all know that's not the case. It's just a show, man. PEACE.

kirk would definitely eat more blueberry pies than spock

spock would be done after like 4 bites max whereas kirk can probably eat like two with ease

The best shot of the episode:

Reflections have always played a huge role in this show, especially those of Walt.

Remember when he punched the towel dispenser? He was actually punching his reflection in it, symbolizing the internal walt vs heisenberg.

I think this shot might be trying to convey walt and heisenberg having merged back into one person.

I'm merely talking about defending poisoning a child. I 'like' Walter White as an incredibly written story character but even if I was rootin' for him, I could never defend the action of poisoning a child. Because that is true fucking insanity.

I'm not rootin' for him because liking a character has nothing to do with hoping he succeeds, because I'm not five years old. But that's besides the point.

that was an enjoyable episode, but man there so many people/thing against Walt. Can't wait to see Walt beat all of them :P
oh and isn't the 68% the same as the the distribution people cook percent

Have you played The Last of Us? I think I've seen that you have but I'd be interested to see your thoughts on Joel.

Julie Bowen doing a good job on Talking Bad.

Basically yeah Walt is bad and we all realize it, but then there is this little part of you that wants him to win. Sorta like Vic Mackey. Maybe you don't want him to win in the end, but you get satisfaction out of seeing how we will squirm his way out.

No I've lost that feeling after last season (as in S5A). I'll admit seeing Walt win over Gus felt like a huge weight off my shoulders but after the episode I've realized all Walt has done just to win over Gus seemed way too much but then in S5A Walt is proud over it and I realized that Walt is a despicable man. The funnest scenes now are the flash forward scenes because I at least know that he's gonna get what he deserves and I can't wait for it to happen.

That's what's great about Breaking Bad. Even when they have made the main character unlikable they still have you looking forward to something or someone.

Where do you rank Jesse selling meth in rehab and kicking his own friends off the wagon?

In a show, it doesn't matter. It's not really happening. It's like people celebrating Walt getting cancer again. It's just a show, and the reactions are all in context. No one really wants to poison a child, but in this show, it was gonna help the character escape. It's just like the rationalizing of Todd killing that kid. It was a horrible thing to do, but given the predicament the group was in, it was understandable.

Bad actions can be justified for bad people. We can suspend reality for the duration of the show and get absorbed into the character. In that position, I see a lot "right" with what Walt's done. You can't get into the hard drug game and not expect to kill a few people, children included. Reprehensible in real life, but makes Walt such a likably evil character. PEACE.

I'm not watching, but memles pointed out on Twitter that they're using still photos instead of vid clips from the episodes to save money on Talking Bad. AMC doing their thing.

you know what, hank is a loser and a scumbag

now that he's found a chance to become someone important, he's going for it and he doesn't mind risking his family

at one point he realized how much of a loser he really is but then who gave him the courage to get back up? walt

hank is just snatching what he can right now so he can be ~*~*~the one who caught him~*~*~

fuck hank

Except Skylar.

They got more than the most out of Anna Gunn, as far as I can tell. Check out her work during the scene where Walt is stomping after he demanding she explain her exit strategy, the venom that drips from her lips as she essentially wishes Walt dead from cancer.

Emmy award winning work by any measure.

I don't know how Vince can sit there and listen to people guess about everything, I would have accidentally given it all away like 5 mins in.

At this point I am convinced you're joking.

Yeah, I don't really agree with half of what's she's saying, but it's cool she's clearly actually invested in the show. You don't really get that in Talking Dead guests.

She rubs me the wrong way so my hate is completely irrational. As horrible as it is to say, I wish she would have been written off the show seasons ago.

I'm with you no Walt. I love the character but the madness needs to end.

Great episode. Jesse continues to be an idiot. Has he never heard of fingerprints?

Walt would pretty much have to kill Hank and Jesse to keep his family safe.

I don't think Jesse is concerned about getting caught at this point. He's giving away all his money and soon won't be able to survive on his own. He already had his utilities shut off before Walt showed up with the cash and he's pretty much waiting for it all to end at this point.

Honesty i wouldn't mind a Shield'esq ending.

I'll wrap a spoiler tag around this whole thing so it doesn't spoil The Shield for anyone.
Like The Shield ending, i want Walter to get away with it all. Rather it be as a free man that can't go to prison for his crimes or that he has to run for the rest of his life but instead of his family living i want them to die. Why? Because this whole thing started to take care of his family, much like the shield. Everything was for them, they are the only people he cares about to kill them all off and force him to have to live with that for the rest of his life is a perfect ending to me. You can't get more perfect than him having to live and deal with the fact that its his fault for his families death. Everything he did was for nothing

That would be the only truly satisfying ending for me. Killing him off is boring and highly unoriginal. I would rather them take a more creative approach. What? Have his son kill him? Wife? Hank? snooze. Cancer? Oh, how ironic would that be *eyeroll*. Maybe i just expect more and that's fine because at the end of the day nobody will truly be happy with how these final 8 episodes go. It's Sopranos all over again. You can kill him, let him live or turn to black because no matter what way you go there will be a million people completely shitting on the ending and i hope they nail the perfect finale. It's almost impossible to do and to me only 2 shows did it right. The Shield and Six Feet Under.

Does anyone know if theyre still uploading the Breaking Bad podcasts on Monday or is that gone now that we have Talking Bad?
