I couldn't believe when Hank let it all out. I wanted this to happen ever since the show started.

And the scene did NOT disappoint.

I'm so excited for sunday, HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGG

Never? Not ever?

I don't think Walt began this journey as a megalomaniac. That came later.

No I don't think it really was every his goal. He did have a short term money problem, but go offered an out fairly early, but his ego just wouldn't let him take it. If he was really doing ti for his family he would have.

All day yesterday I couldn't stop telling my girlfriend how awesome it was going to be when it aired and she retorted with "Don't put the pussy on a pedestal, look at Dexter's final season."

After the episode she agreed that it deserves to be on a pedestal.

I like your girlfriend.

I'd like to think there will be some kind of career punishment and detriment to the C.Vs of the writing staff on this Season of Dexter specifically.

I know they probably would shrug it off and blame other factors and that 'we dont understand', but seriously the writing FUCKING SUCKS. Dexter has already been going seven episodes this season. Breaking Bad has had one in its current run and it destroyed it in every which way.

Sorry for going slightly OT but its the final sodding season of both shows. Its not fair to flat out compare Dex to BB, but theres just no semblance Dex is going anywhere.

One look to Carol the neighbour in BB = about 15 seconds of screentime said more than last weeks Dexters 5 sodding minutes and the Harrisons lies about...a TV REMOTE????

I haven't watched Dexter - but was that show ever at BB level? I've always classified it as B-tier for no specific reason.

Series 1 and 2 were trashy fun but very VERY enjoyable. 3 and 4 were B-tier but still good romps. 5 and 6 = C/D tier, 7 - C+ tier but this.......season 8....its horrifyingly going nowhere very slowly.

I wonder how loyal Skyler is willing to be for Walt. I don't know if she would stick with him if Hank confronts her.

I still say she will do what she's thinks is best for the kids, but if Hank spills about Walt's cancer it could complicate things.

In the same vein Walt has taken out more drug lords than the DEA has dreamed of lol.

Loved Hank in this ep. You can see how torn up he is, Heisenberg is the itch he can't scratch. If Walt goes down then Hank will face endless accusations and investigations. All Walt has to do is say Hank was in on it too: Hank raising money for Walt, Walt meeting with Hank in a shuttered office as ASAC, Hank's rehab being payed for with drug money and much more. Heisenberg is what motivated Hank but now he can't persue him like he knows how.

I feel like a lot of people think this is just "Oh, so you're Hsienberg! How did I miss that?" are missing that Hank LOVES Walt. Even though they're in-laws, Hank looks at Walt like a brother. He's processing the fact that a guy he's close to is basically a monster. And Hank is a good cop, he missed ALL of this. That makes it even worse for him. That's why he said "I don't know who I'm looking at". If you noticed, Hank looked a little like he was going to cry at first in that scene. The HURT shown in his face was amazing because he's facing down someone he cares for greatly who has turned into a monster.

I'm really unsure of where they're going to go. Walt tried to appeal to him "I'm going to be dead in 6 months" because he knows Hank loves him. Even if the cancer is back, this guy has basically concealed a completely different part of himself from everyone he loves and now it's coming out. Hank looked SO hurt. More so than Skyler when she found out.

I'd say some episodes of Dexter's first season are great TV, a solid 7.5. Everything after that is mostly meh compared to BB. I did like the season 4 finale, though.

Quick reminder that the Mythbuster Breaking Bad episode is on tonight at 10pm ET on Discovery.
Breaking Bad Special

The MythBusters are de-bunking the science and chemistry of the hit TV show 'Breaking Bad' as they are joined by creator Vince Gilligan and star Aaron Paul.

Seasons 1 and 2 were equal to seasons 1 and 2 of breaking bad mostly. I'd still give the edge to Breaking Bad.
After that? Lololololilololol
Dexter turned into a shit show pretty quick after season 2

Uhhh, considering Skyler has probably committed a long list of felonies laundering money for Walt's meth empire, I'm pretty sure she's gotta stick with Walt.

Dexter peaked at season 4 and even at its height paled in comparison to any season of BB. Now it's somewhere between a cockroach and that white stuff that accumulates at the corner of your mouth when you're really thirsty.

I think this thread is gonna hit 20k before the last few episodes. Looks like you'll be making one more BB thread, Cornballer.

I do agree for the most part, but I do have to say that Season 7 was a return to form and got pretty close to rekindling the magic.

Did you just quote Con Air while talking about Dexter? :lol

That was an amazing episode last night. That scene in the garage was tense as hell and both actors nailed it. I really hope Hank takes Walter down and I'd love to see Jesse be the one to go to the DEA for everything Heisenberg has done to him.

Anyone else think Walt got the ricin for himself? Shoot up whoever he bought the gun for and then take his own life? It seems odd that you'd go out of your way to retrieve some poison when you're a dude with a machine gun that has nothing to lose.

Jesse isn't a victim. It would be a cop out if he isn't held accountable for his actions, but Walt is.

the look on hanks face at the end was brilliant, definitely the best we've seen from dean norris this far. its great to see him like that after 4 seasons of funny, silly hank.

Awesome show.

Lydia, Lydia, Lydia. My guess is that she'll turn to Jessie and convince him to cook for her, and then reveal to him that Mike is dead and how Walt all but denied it. That would definitely sour the relationship between Walt and Jess.

Wait, did I miss something? How does Lydia know? It's been a while since I watched the show.
