RUMOR: Sean Gunn is Rocket Raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy?

That's right. You heard it here first. We have it from an "inside source," rumors have been circulating around the set of Guardians of the Galaxy, that director James Gunn's brother, Gilmore Girls actor Sean Gunn, has in fact been chosen to play the voice of Rocket Raccoon. Sean Gunn has played a small role in both of James Gunn's directorial efforts, Slither and Super. This rumor could explain why recently, on James Gunn's Formspring, when asked if his brother would have a cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy, James Gunn answered, "Cameo? Not quite."

While this rumor is very interesting, it can still be taken with a grain of salt. Our source made it clear to us that this was only a rumor circulating around the set. Stay tuned in the next few weeks, as Marvel Studios is expected to make an announcement soon.
