Games you remember, names you don't

I think about these sorts of games all the time and of course, when this thread is made, none of them come to mind.

One I can remember tho was similar to the Spy Fox games but I think it was more spooky themed and certainly didn't have the same characters. There might have been a laboratory and a robot involved. Every now and then I get little flashes of memories of it but none come to mind now.

I definitely remember some level of cooking or mechanical building was involved. Like, to progress, you had to pass certain rooms or portions of a mansion or laboratory-type setup and you got parts to either cook or build with later to progress even further.
 
I don't know much about this game. What I do remember is that it was on the cover of a GameFan issue in probably 96. I'm pretty damn sure it was for ps1. I seem to remember that the main character was some sort of commando type guy. It was third person and I feel like I remember seeing pictures of him holding a big gun and possibly walking across a bridge.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Just click the first issue available and then click the next arrow under the cover image to go to the next page. Perhaps you'll recognize it there.
 
- Game is on GBA
- You scroll through each level Final Fight-style
- It is pretty futuristic (as in, you fight robots / other mech) and *I think* your suit is red
- If you die, you can sort of make a a deal with the devil: you can proceed through the game technically invincible but the main antagonist has your soul and kills you when you get to a specific point anyway
- Game is rather short (6-7 main levels?)
- Final boss fight pits you against a huge monster/thing that is about to destroy the world / in the last phase of the boss you have to prevent its ultimate attack in 10 seconds (I think)

Any ideas?

-It's a JRPG for the PS2.
-I think there was something about a musician perhaps? I think he had red hair as well.
-The beginning of the game had some sort of time reset mechanic because If I remember I kept having to start over and do the same part.

Info's kind of vague I know; I rented this game for like 2 days from Blockbuster a long, long time ago so I can't remember any significant details.

Ephemeral Fantasia maybe? It stars a redhaired musician.

Looking for two games actually, both PC games from the early 90s.

Game #1:
- very simple top down racing game
- no scrolling, whole track on one screen
- 2-4 cars, oil spills on track but no weapons
- think it had (offline) multiplayer
- played it in 1994 or 1995, I think
- might have been Shareware
- I'm not talking about Death Rally

Game #2
- strategy game set in the Dark Age
- top down battles, probably turn-based
- I remember a green map, a castle, horses and banners!
- think it was a Windows 3.1 game which should be a big clue
- played it in 1993 or 1994
- it wasn't Defender of the Crown
 
1. I got this in one of those giant shareware collections they made in the 90s
2. You played as a wizard or spellcaster of some kind
3. It was a side-scrolling platformer
4. If it helps, it was packaged in the same collection as Cosmo's Cosmic Adventures
 
It was an arcade game in the mid '90 if I remember correctly. It was a scrolling beat 'em up and it had a group of superheroes (no X-Men). I'm quite sure one was Spiderman or a similar fake hero, in fact I searched for superheroes arcades on the internet many times, but never found it, so I guess it could be a bunch of fake/cloned heroes. I also remember the first boss was something akin to Clayface.

Ain't that Ninja Warriors ? Tank was on stage 2 though, at least in the original. No idea about a nes version
 
SNES jump-and-run game that had some kind of playdough like protagonist that could throw his arms, legs etc at enemies...

I loved playing that as a kid, I just can't remember the name.

Slicks 'n' Slide?
 
One SNES game i remember playing as a kid was about a space fox with a sword battling enemies, spacecrafts etc. It was a sidescroller and made by Konami i think.
 
this world war 2 game on dreamcast i forgot the name but it had the best stealth i can remember it was dark and i remember it very well, the name will never come to me.
 
This is an odd one because it wasn't technically a game, but it was a tech demo software that came with the Windows 95 disc version of Monopoly by Westwood and Hasbro.

This tech demo had you click and drag a baloon dog around the screen and it left a trail like the cards do when you win solitaire or windows do if your PC freezes up. Does anyone remember what this was called? I can't find anything about it anywhere and I can't install the CD on my PC to find out.

Why can't you just look on the CD if you have it?
 
I remember renting a SNES game where you played as a rat who was dressed in blue and had a jetpack or something. Or it may have been a cat. It was a sidescroller, I remember having quite a bit of fun with that game for a short time.
 
There was a game on the Megadrive i think, it was sort of a top down shooter game like asteroids but the map was much bigger and i think you could select from 4 different types of spaceships.

I think the design on the cartridge showed a picture of the purple ship.

Okay, a very hard one.

- It's an old DOS-game
- I THINK it's a first person shooter game.
- You go around shooting aliens (?) of some sort (Not doom or wolfenstein)
- I remember there were alot of secrets and cool weapons

Really vague I know.

Hope someone might know

There's... not a lot of distinguishing information there. That could adequately describe hundreds of games.

I'm going to plump for Blake Stone, just from a vague feeling of the sort of things lots of people got exposed to.

I've always wondered about this series... are any of the later games worth picking up? I loved what I played of the first game, but there were so many sequels, I gave up on deciding which one to grab and try.
 
I have one. It's a japanese soccer game i played on NES (or SNES). The style is very cartoonish and cute. It's a great fun game.

The only detail i remember is the finish move of some country's team, like the Japan team with the basketball ball, the brazil team with piranha ball >__>. Made my childhood =D.
