Perhaps I should ask a few more questions before I jump in.

How big are the worlds? loading inbetween exploring the world? Is the exploration deep? Are battles random ala ff7 or do you see the enemy on the world map or in dungeon ala persona?

For over a month now theres 4 mini Vita adverts attached to each episode of the Simpsons re-runs, never showing the more mature games like mk, umvc or hotline miami, only tearaway wipeout and lbp of the ones i recall

and now pets game which is primarily aimed at kids

on criminal girls... all i have to say is japan, you can do better.. small wonder japanese woman try to hook up younger boys.. if they had to wait for japanese guys of their own age, i guess that instead of going for 35 y/o married woman, they'd go for 40+ y/o married grandma, considering on this level exposing 2d girls or loli is a hit in japan in a WIDE age range...
give us more Ace attorney... give us more megaman, more soul sacrifice, more mh, more a lot of things... but sigh oversexualized child/girl being the main concept for a game is such a waste of time...

this kid has WAY too many F'n games that he doesn't play. I'll specifically get him something, and he'll shrug it off, but go back to games like Alien Breed over and over.

The problem with this is that he always wants to play my vita (PSN+ and 32GB card) which is understandable, but defeats the purpose of him having his own.

he's pulled my screen protector off twice in portions now because he was "fixing" it. thankfully, i learned a scotch tape trick that works wonders as i dont want to replace the protector for a 3rd time if i dont have to.

he has asked me for my password on multiple occasions (on mine) but i remind him its a secret. i keep his vita in airplane mode.

fortunately for him, i tend to get most of the new, good games on my own volition.

The game is officially defined a “Girl Punishment RPG”, and that’s why I left that disclaimer you read just above. It’s a JRPG…about punishing girls. You read it correctly. I’ll give you a few seconds to let it sink…

Out of combat the player will be able to punish the girls to reduce their “sinner half” criminal factor, this is important to rehabilitate them, but also to combat itself. By punishing the girls with options like spanking or the use of electricity (oh boy…) not only they will open their hearts to you, but the range of suggestions available in battle will improve.

i suppose most would say don't let him play the thing. my dad was a bit of nazi and I just can't do that to him. I'll take it away from him but I can't bring myself to ban him.

he's actually grounded from my vita for a week for messing with my protector again, after I told him in the most serious tone that it's something not to mess with.

i'd start with the smaller games, probably the psp/ ps1 titles so you can play sooner and the others can finish while you're playing

when i was young, i'd get a new game 4 times out of the year (my b-day, then my 2 brother's b-day if i was lucky and they'd share, then christmas). kids these days...

I got his from a dude on craigslist for $110. he saved $10 from something or other and used it towards it. it wasn't his birthday or anything. just because.

he's scratched just about everything but he hasn't broken anything yet.

i traded my mint, white, psp-go to someone on this site for a 3DS for him. He still has a black psp-go.

i'm trying to teach the value of taking care of possessions, but it's a battle

Valkyria Chronicles is 6,29 € right now with PS+ in Europe. I will pick Dragons Crown up when it's available over here. Guess I'll buy Muramasa Rebirth next week.

I presume most people here would already own a PS3, so it was more a suggestion to buy a second, hackable one. Mine was about $100 shipped.

Totally redundant for Totori alone (although if it's supported you could buy a physical copy of Totori to play on your Vita), but there's a lot of games that work on Remote Play really well. Atelier Rorona runs great, Ni No Kuni runs with a tiny bit of latency, for examples.

I am still intrigued at the $8 Fruit Ninja release.

The same deveoper/publisher combo released Jetpack Joyride for free on Vita and this is an older game with in app purchases.

Did nobody buy the IAP for Jetpack and then decided to profit on the few suckers, err customers that would buy it? somebody should ask the publisher what was their reasoning for that price point.

this is just plain weird. so i bought a new Vita AC Adapter... and now the AC Adapter brick no longer charges my Vita again

Vita charges fine with portable battery... or iPad charger
