Excuse my language, but you know you are full of it right? It's not harsh, its wrong as hell. Did you know Wolfkrone used analog for C.Viper and beasted on people in tourneys? C.Viper! If one willing to put the time in it, one can play a fighting game with all sorts of weird ass funky unorthodox ways and whoop ass.

So just stop.

Games off the top of my head:
P4G if you like JRPGs.
Rayman origins is a phenomenal 2D platformer.
Guacamelee is a fantastic Metroidvania style game.
Super Stardust Delta is a great twin stick shooter.
Muramasa Rebirth is a 2D platformer hack and slash (almost an action game but without some of the depth -- think the Dishwasher games from XBL)
Dragon's Crown get's good word of mouth as a 2D brawler RPG (like the old Mystara Capcom D&D games)
Sly 4 is a pretty good Sly game, much like Sly 3 (I think I liked it better) but it's best, IMO, if you can use the cross save function with PS3 for some stuff.
Hotline Miami is fantastic (top down twitch action game, very oldschool...)
Most of the fighting game ports are fantastic, UMvC3 and DoA5+ are on sale this week for PS+
Stealth, Inc. is a good 2D puzzle platformer (not a straight puzzle game though)
Spelunky is coming next week.

Also if I buy Guacamelle on PSN for my Vita can I also play it on my PS3?

Finally managed to play some KillZone - yeah, looks pretty good! Still not a fan of kill streaks in games and crazy map wiping abilities but most are it seems.

Might pick it up for the SP and the odd multi player with gaffers. Think I went like 40-35. Not bad I spose.

bwah. I am still largely undecided on what to get. I think I'll only have like $85/95 for the rest of the year for my Vita gaming budget :/

That looks like a pink elephant to me. But then, I see pink elephants when I'm drunk. (When the elephants turn pink it's a sign you've drunk too much.)
 
So was Soul Sacrafice no good? People were talking about it like it was going to be the killer app.

Also, someone mentioned Persona 4. I have no idea what Persona is...looks like a 3D RPG. Last good 3D RPG I played was Skies of Arcadia and Ni No Kuni on PS3.

Shoot I just convinced my brother to go for that $200 Vita IGC bundle and now it's sold out everywhere. I don't think it's sold in stores either...?

That's good! Stealth Inc is very good too so you wouldn't be missing out.

Still, my recommendation is Stardust + MGS. And Mutant blobs if you have $2 left over after those.

It runs smoother than the PS3 version, surprisingly enough.

Dunno how smooth it is beyond episodes 1 and 2 though. Will play 3 tonight.

GameStop still has an SKU for it. Have him call a GS (or go to one) to get a local inventory check.
