I have completely stopped using the Vita store because of it. I just use the PC store, which is much more convenient anyway. You can queue up downloads that just automatically start on Vita.

Been playing Ys Seven, quite fun. Story is nothing special so far (4 hours in), but the combat is addicting. My first Ys!

OK so I bought a little travel pack and it comes with a single screen protector - should I put it on the front or the back? Usually I don't put any of my touch screen devices and they've all been fine, but I've heard the back of the Vita scratches pretty easily; Any advice?

Can I transfer my saves from my PSP to my Vita? I want to keep playing GT, Ys 7, Killzone Liberation, Birth by Sleep etc when I get the Vita.
Also, and apologies if this has been asked a billion times, but does Vita play ANY games that were on PSP? And how about PS1? Is there a NeoGAF compat list somewhere? As most of my PS1 games from the store will be PAL 50hz, I guess I could run into problems there. As long as Resident Evil 2 and MGS work, I'll be happy!

You can find great compatibility lists right on wiki. Vita does play PSP and PS1 games but not all of them...
Say bye bye to Birth by Sleep. Keep your PSP, everything else you listed works on Vita though

See how the install base was the excuse on Vita and the lack demand was the excuse for 3DS, this mean not only they want a bigger usebase they also want a huge demand for it on Vita, so this mean never.

I'm not sure how many copies they are selling but I can't blame anyone for buying it, since it's the only option for football fans on the platform.
Sony should've let London Studio revive This is Football instead of working and wasting their time on Wonderbook.
Hmm interesting. I have a different opinion about the single player right now but I think that finally, with the multiplayer, it will reach the "9" for me. (i'm playing the single player of the full game and the multiplayer of the beta because there is no users in the multi of the complete game)

ok my VitaKin I need some help. I downloaded the Mercs Beta, and So far I can dig it. I do have an issue though in that I cannot seem to figure out how the hacking mini game works for the capsules. I must have sat in front of one for atleast a minutes failing to open it, I may have missed, but I did not see any kind of pop up explaining how it works.

DJMAX Technika Tune is pretty cool -- not necessarily a lot in line with my musical preferences, but the presentation is good and there's a lot of variety... it's hard too! (Then again, I'm not good at games like this.)

Escape Vektor was pissing me off earlier... I had the map completely covered but I couldn't find the exit. I ran out of boost and pulses and the enemies caught me. I turned my Vita off.

I played through enough of Totori to get the bad ending -- game could be decent if I was ready to put some time into it.

Haven't touched DoA5 yet... thinking of buying DC this week, but maybe I'll hold off since I just grabbed Spelunky and don't feel like grabbing another $50 card.
Look for one of the patterns that fits the empty set of pieces in the set shown in the middle. You may have to tap the piece you want on the side, then the middle.
When the pieces refresh, find the piece that has the 2 you're now missing. Tap it, then tap the middle. Tada, you did it!

Throw stuff in front of them. If you don't have a rock or anything to throw, then just be very quick and hope you get lucky.

Or pick up a rat. You can walk right in front of an arrow trap and it will kill the rat and leave you unharmed.

Someone made a guide to transfer saves but I'm not sure where. it was in the early Vita discussion threads.

Killzone is fun I guess when all we have to do is kill people and when I'm not being killed instantly within 5 seconds of a respawn. Then when it's other things to do my team just keeps on killing and I have no idea what to do. It doesn't help that all I can do is run, crouch, or shoot. I do pretty well I guess but then once I die once or twice I'm spawning in within sight of people wanting to kill me
I played 1.5 matches and then most of my team just left so I did too. Not sure if I'd pay $40 for this. I'm guessing once I play a little bit more I unlock things other than the default set up. I noticed people throwing grenades and I got knifed in the back a few times.

The vita seems to have slow down on the 2 secret levels and the ice caves. Plays great on the ps3 but if you enabled cloud saves the lag between death and restart is quite annoying.
The off screen co op is fantastic. I only tried it out with my son but it was still fun.
If you want to set off arrow traps you can also crouch against a ledge and activate a rope. It will send it straight down and trigger anything below you.

Once you beat the caves, a black guy with an eye patch will show up. He will make three requests, once per completion or three completions, at that point you can start right from the jungle.
I wouldn't recommend this as there's an item you want in the caves that can only be retrieved from the caves

Next week at the earliest, possibly two weeks.
Expect to die often.
Don't rush.
Always carry a rock if you aren't carrying a weapon, chest, or damsel.
Don't jump of ledges without looking.
The shotgun owns.
Make sure there are no store owners in the way before you take the treasure during the first world.
Rocks ricochet, and will hurt you.
Always throw pots to break them.
