Actually, I misspoke. There is no time limit on quests. The game itself has one but it is extremely generous.

The challenges servers do seem unavailable, just tried my Legends Vita copy.
Game looks smashing and beautiful, but the lighting and shadows from the other versions don't seem dynamic on the characters
The 3D elements blend so beautifully in motion. It's really striking.

Probably the jpg, the demo looks great.
The demo affirmed for me that I want to get this on PS3 though. Yup, the touch screen sections are dullllll and slow.

Speaking of... I just checked and Legends is 1001mb on Vita, 2.1gb on PS3. Can anyone confirm? If so, it means Ubisoft didn't drop those 28 levels because of "lack of space".

Same boat I am in, fellow Gaffer. Could be why I was buying everything and everything at a stupid discount. Now - GTA 5, PS4 (halfway there), and maybe the XB1 (if funds allow) are my remaining purchases for the year that I have yet to allocate money too really. I figured since I was going to be broke from the apt, might as well increase my backlog NOW so I have tons to keep me occupied later
Hopefully, this method won't ruin me!

Hmm are you sure? I have spent a couple hours on this Vita version and have spent many many hours on the Wii U demo/Challenge app, and didn't really notice a difference in lighting. Not saying you're wrong, though.
The 3D elements don't have AA in any of the versions. You simply cannot see the jaggies in motion. At all. It's only in screenshots.

hehe yeah I was thinking about trading in some stuff so I can put towards my preorders. Killzone Merc, Rayman, Puppeteer, and AA Blackgate may have to wait just feel bad spending money on those when I still have two consoles to pay off and not enough funds.Gaming is expensive during the end of Summer. @ jon yeah congrats a friend of mines just bought his girl a ring. Got my Vita, it's lovely!
I've transferred all my Vita and PSP games across from my PS3 but Content Manager isn't showing up any PSOne games I have:
Resident Evil 2
Arc the Lad
Silent Hill
Is there another way to copy them across? Directly onto the Vita perhaps, or are those games not compatible with PS Vita?

Better solution: ditch the Xbone pre-order. $500+ is a nice chunk toward a ring. Also, good luck with that.

RE2 might not be compatible any more in EU... not sure what region you're in.

RE2 might not be compatible any more in EU... not sure what region you're in.
Ohh I need the bubbles? Of course! I am in England, I do recall something about RE2 not working on Vita.

Yes. You need the install bubbles for a game to show as "transferable" in content manager. I believe this is why the PSOne downloads no longer delete their install bubbles once installed, in case you want to transfer to a PSP or PSVita. Good luck.

The lighting seems present and ambient light (a fire) will cast orange into the character, but shadows and stuff don't seem to cast dynamically on Rayman. Not 100% certain, but that's how it seems to me. Still a visually beautiful game, though!
Side note:
Off to work, if anyone purchased AtelierMururu +, I want detailed impressions and I want to know about the visual quality (native resolution, lighting, shadows, textures etc)

They did it on consoles too I believe. It's so they can maintain 1080p (or native Vita res in this case) whilst maintaining 60fps on all platforms.

Thanks for clearing that, I'll try RE2 again. We got the NTSC version on the UK PSN, hope it works on Vita as its one of my favourite games.
Welcome to the family! When you first see it the Vita seems huge. But once you've actually played for two or three days, you would learn that is... perfect.
Good luck with that, man. But if you have both preordered i would recommend you to drop the X1. Having a Vita, I think the PS4 offers more value. Same opinion as @corrosivefrost
Can someone actually tell me if this is true? If it is, it's sad. One of my main reasons for buying a Vita was for playing lots of classics I skipped when I was a kid. I go from the SNES (a cousin gives it to me with a dozen of games) to the PS2. So I haven't played most classics of that gen.
huh but it's 2D game,I guess it's fine to do that on Vita but PS360 should handle this with AA at 1080p/60fps :/
oh well I'll force shit tons of AA and downsampling the hell out of it on my PC then.

Hmm yeah not sure. I just tried playing a level from both versions at the exact same time and they seemed indistinguishable. And I was trying to look HARD.

I don't know why any experienced gamer trips off screenshots. Anybody in this hobby should know that you can only judge a game in motion.
Screenshots are pretty much always better or worse than how a game appears in actuality.
dunno about that, I bought a new handheld in august,now a month later it's still huge as a tank. however I got stronger (lolz) so it don't hurt my arms now but it's still damn big .
I never thought Vita was big, its size is pretty much almost perfect.

You can also use RemotePlay to play them off your PS3.
PS3 and Steam have those some gimmicks, but you press a button instead. Those levels (which is a good chunk of the game) were designed to be played in local multiplayer with the Wii U gamepad.

as much as i ignore toto - seriously i havent read one of his posts for like 5 months,
he has good taste in games - at least from what he suggests. im sure that gurumin game is pretty decent.
i agree though all new vita bros/broettes need to read the toto disclaimer before feeding his trollisms.

every one should buy Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure, it's my best PSP game of all time, a great and charming Action RPG with amazing cast, dialogue, platforming, puzzles and nice (very nice when mastered) combat system and it's even better on Vita because the camera issue is gone now using the right stick.
