September Wrasslin' |OT| because Triple H is good for business

That Clorox commercial where the kid is excited to show his mom that he pottied in the bathroom, only to SWERVE his mom and reveal he shit in the bath tub makes me think of Bobby Lashley.

Classic Match of the Day;

Andre the Giant vs Killer Khan - (NJPW 04/01/1982)

This one's a lot of fun. Andre starts with his usual clowning around as Khan tries to make any impact. Khan's technically a heel, but the crowd are going crazy at the possibility of an upset as Khan, first, doesn't stay down after Andre's beating and, second, takes the fight to the Giant, which Andre sells big for. Khan's using every dirty trick in the book to gain an advantage and they do this cool spot from a chinlock where he keeps claiming Andre's choking him and the ref makes Andre break the hold. Andre keeps yelling "It's not a choke!" and, frustrated, puts the hold on the ref to show him, lol. He doesn't take too many bumps in this one, but does sell big for Khan's offence, especially once Khan starts working over his leg. Andre also continues to sell his leg injury while on offence, which I love to see. The finish is excellent, just a fun match a notch above Andre's usual New Japan bouts, great work by both men, especially the underrated Killer Khan.

Metal Slug games are so fun. They should make a come back. Not turning it into a generic shooter with some reboot or anything, either. Seems like it'd be perfect for handhelds. Maybe there have been newer ones that I'm not aware of.


An Andre thread would probably go over well. EVERYONE has some kind of memory of Andre, even if they weren't wrestling fans and were born in the 90s. A bunch of pictures/gifs/videos of Andre could be a hit.

Yeah the early Rayman games sucked. First game was style over gameplay and the 3D games where early 3D platformers so... yeah.


But Origins was amazing and Legends seems to be more of that.

Makes me wonder what the New Super Mario Bros games could have been if Nintendo gave a shit.

Delaying a game for six months after its completed so you can port it to other systems = dicks.

They could've released the game, then ported it. So yeah, I'm one of "those."

The only way I can tell a publisher what they're doing is dickish is by not buying their stuff, what else is there?
 
I had a friend who refused to buy Left 4 Dead 2 after that boycott. Even years after release when it was selling for 5 bucks he still wouldnt bite. I tried to gift it but nope.


Why where people boycotting that game again? Was it just because it wasnt Half Life? I forget.

They thought/believed not making a free expansion pack was bullshit.

Yeah I knew a friend like that too. Luckily eventually caved in! It was a great game.

If Origins was profitable (and Ubi says it was), then this definitely will be. It's got a ton more clout because of the first one and isn't going to get fucking massacred again

Comes out the same time as GTAV though, that'll impact sales somewhat.

Man I remember when Vice City came out. I was so hyped, especially because it was the 80s and all. \m/
Sure GTA3 didn't really attract me, but this would be different! NOPE. Didn't like the game... Everything just felt so sloppy. Never finished it.

So I skipped San Andreas not falling for the hype until GTA4 comes around. Got lured in once more and didn't have fun.. again.

I think that's that for me. Won't be taking my 60/50 bucks.

Max Payne 3 was bad ass though!

I'm not buying Rayman because Puppeteer looks fresher and Donkey Kong Retro 2 looks better.
