Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | September 2013 | Token Indie Thread

Yay new Limited Editions :) God Eater one looks nice.
A Miku LE for F2 should be almost guaranteed then right? They also finally showed F2 footage, wonder if we'll get an audio-included version of it..

964x-1

Oh God this looks terrible. Do I even want an LE if it's one of these units..guess we'll have to see it in person.

Only thing I like is the colors but I just want dark red. I'd have to see the screen to notice the difference and compare. As of right now I'm happy with my OG Vita. Had it been SD card compatible I would have probably gotten it though. :p

Hopefully this gets the Vita to sell more and give us more AAA games

Sengoku Musou 4 for Vita was a nice surprise for me. It's obviously not gonna be the only platform, but I'm glad that I'll finally get to play that series again after it went Wii-exclusive for some dumb reason.

Things I like about the new Vita:
-redesigned speaker holes
-redesigned start and select buttons
-no more silver border; matches color of Vita now
-at least it has some built in memory now (though I won't use it, and IMO it should have been at least 8GB)
-improved battery life (I never really had much of an issue with the current battery life)
-USB micro is cool, but a very minor change

Things I don't like:
-the screen has a weird border thing now
-the front facing camera looks bigger (did they improve these?)
-LCD screen (not necessarily bad, can't judge until I see it as some LCDs are really nice looking)
-the rear grips look funky now (they look wider and rounder)

Also, for people complaining about the lack of an HDMI out- they could have still added TV out functionality. Plenty of devices output through their USB micro ports. Don't know if Sony would actually do that though.

Also, 64GB memory card is great news.

Personally, I am glad that they announce the new Vita model as having an LCD screen. It avoids making me feel shitty of buying a 1st gen Vita, hahaha.

Just when i buy a second 32gb stick on starurday 64gb get announced argh, like i said in the other thread my gf will be glad to receive it as a upgrade from her 4gb once the 64gb comes out

Was waiting for a new model to be announced next years e3, but now it has and i've seen the specs looks like i wont be upgrading.

So uh, we still ain't got a clue whatsoever as to the identity of Shahid's mysterious can't-wait game, huh. Other than it's not a port---allegedly---what do we know about this?

That was football manager

He even defended it in one of his tweets, saying something like football manager is considered a big game in his eyes

Wait, they announced a 64GB card?!

I must've died in my sleep. That's the only plausible explanation.

I don't see a thread about it but pretty much everyone said about this in the new Vita model thread. I just jump into assumption and could be wrong about this though.

Best conference this year and i can't watch it :(

Anyone have full list of games annouced for Vita ?

Also I'm now #YOLO guy with fresh 32GB coming by post while they annouced 64 GB I hope price is astronomical
just kidding

I guess you pretty happy about 64 GB card announcement :p

Indeed. I was *this close* of actually buying a second 32GB, thankfully this time I am not screwed by bad luck, hahaha.

The price must be high though: makes me kind of want to stop buying games for Vita in favor of buying the MC first.

Oh. If it's really the game, then personally I'd find it very disappointing :(

Anyways,

It's time to play Soul Sacrifice, I guess, now that the sequel has been announced. Urghhh my backlog :(

Valkyria Chronicles returns to the big screen!
Through Vita TV

Looks pretty cool to be fair, though I'm probably not the target audience since I've only one TV. Still, it's cheap enough to warrant a look and I suppose I could now play Persona 4 on a TV again since my ps2 broke.

Well that was kinda awesome!
Hoping those JPN games makes it way over.

Wonder if you can do seamless transfer between Vita TV and Vita. Killzone Merc MP is gonna be damn fun on it!

Now for the important question ... someone said something about a new Dynasty Warriors for Vita .... is this true?

The remodel is pretty crap but the VitaTV looks great. Provided you can reuse your PS3 controller it's as low as $100 + cost of a memory card, less than a 2DS. Even if not, $150 for it + controller + 8GB, less than a 3DS.

Nobody can use cost as the barrier for not owning a Vita anymore, bigger installbase means more support, and this is a perfect cheap second Vita for those who want TV-Out.

Loving it!

Edit: Wasn't the reason they removed multi-account support on the Vita because they believed the Vita, as a handheld, to be a one-person device? Now that it's in console form which is by all means family accessible, any chance they'll re-add it?
