Original Vita vs Vita PCH-2000, which one do/would you prefer?

So I was thinking of the relative advantages and disadvantages of the two and wondering on what side you fall on. Let's assume the prices are the same (a fair assumption as the original will see price cuts as it's being phased out):

PCH-2000 Advantages
20% Thinner
15% Lighter
1GB Internal storage
1 more hour of battery life (6hr vs 5hr)
Micro USB port
Available in more colours

Original Vita Advantages
OLED screen
Available with 3G

Metal accents (could be an indication of build quality?)
Thickness (Could be an advantage for big hands?)

So, which do/would you prefer?

OG Vita. No question. Far superior to this LCD trash.

People will be shocked when they compare the OG OLED screen to the new POS LCD screen.

As slick as a think the New Vita looks I can't give up that OLED screen.

So original wins, even though I really like how the new model looks.

The main advantage of the original Vita is the screen. I welcome the changes though since Sony needs to make money and it's still retaining the resolution and functions of a Vita. It feels gimped only by the screen but I think most will not even care or notice. At least the average buyer. As long as they don't downgrade the resolution then it will be fine.

OLED sears my eyes out with how saturated the displays are.

but i'll reserve judgement. Build quality could take a hit.

They ditched the OLED screen, wtf?!

I'd have to see the two side-by-side to make a call. Lighter and better battery life sounds nice, but at what cost?

Add "no weird bezel" to OG Vita. It just looks more premium than the 2000.

I do like the slimness of the new one, and of course, an extra hour of battery life is nice.

I might buy another OG Vita, before they phase it out. Just to have one. No interest in the new cheapo model.

I really hope that the new LCD is comparable to the old OLED. I don't think they would make the switch if it was significantly worse. Can't wait for those comparison videos.

If LCD version is Super LCD3 with their X-Reality, Bravia Engine and Triluminous tech then I'm all for it. But the Vita was already slim AF so the lightness ain't any real problem for me. I'd rather they made it heavier with better ergonomics.

Would adding the Vita TV to the role-call be interesting to anyone else? I have an original OLED and love it, but I'm sure as hell gonna buy the Vita TV.

If true (we haven't seen a comparison yet), OG because of screen.

But, Micro USB is nice, though my Vita's battery life is most excellent, and I've never had to worry about it being charged like my PSP or 3DS (could be the way I play games, I dunno).

So, it makes both battery and microusb irrelevant.

My guess is Sony is doing this to keep costs down and to maximize return and afford bundling Vitas with the PS4.

I don't think the build quality and screen will be able to measure up to the original Vita. But man, those colors...

OLED for sure. 1GB worth of space does nothing if you're interested in buying retail games digitally and the majority of my playtime with the Vita remains at home, so the extra battery life is mostly inconsequential for me.

thats a pretty dope case, name?

Team original for me. better start/select is nice but games rarely use them these days anyways. 15% lighter? if it was 50% lighter, 15%, will notice for a day then it will feel the same.

Vita and 3ds seem to be designed to run out of batteries before your wrist gets tired anyways (._. )

If it had an OLED screen, I'd prefer the 2000, but the OLED trumps every other feature.

That having been said, the 2000 looks like an overall improvement on the 1000 to me. I'm just glad I have my OLED-y goodness 1000 model...

It's funny b/c this was predicted by many here. The lack of OLED in the revision.

It made the most sense from a manufacturing cost standpoint. Unless you put them side-by-side then the general consumer will have no idea what they're missing out on.

OLED, no question about it.

I'm pretty disappointed with the Vita 2000 reveal.
