Go into your privacy settings on the dashboard and change them.

When taking selfies is there a way to determine which angle it will take? Example I stood looking away from a sunset tried a selfie and it pointed in the wrong direction. ..tried a couple of times and gave up.

Opposite way the camera is pointing (game camera, not cell phone camera). It doesn't matter what direction your character is standing, just the direction of the camera.

Dragon's Dogma also had low quality photo snaps, i guess it's just too taxing? The scanlines don't make much sense though.

Can you elaborate? I wasn't even aware that the PS3 had a XMB screen capture

XMB screen capture is built into the OS but hardly anybody uses it, with a CFW PS3 this is available on all games with a simple button press:

Works perfectly with GTA V, there's no performance issues or anything, it's baffling why they didn't enable it. If Rockstar are reading please enable it for all in a future game update, the 640 x 360 photo captures are shit and don't do the game justice. Also add a first person view that you can control, thanks!
