Well, how do you know? See my previous post above. The people who prefer to act hostile in this thread are just assuming that it's against the ToS, because it's "shady" and then go full out based on that half-baked assumption. It might be against the ToS, it might be not (and it's indeed probably not, because people don't get banned for these things in general, none seem to have been banned for this particular one and it's not explicitly mentioned in the ToS). And then there's the "willingness" part. It's another baseless assumption about the OP has been using the same logic involving this thing being "shady". What if he didn't know? It's not an inherently bad thing: Sony allows it, for example. And it's not really different from buying something from a different region's store. I, for one, buy all of my digital PS3 games from the US store, despite me being in Europe. Am I also going to get scorn for this?
I understand that taking a moral high ground doesn't require actual research and provides instant gratification, but it's very, very sad.
