I really fucking love the whole instagram picture thing but I also KINDA hate it, I want to show people more detailed pics of the game and unfortunately I can't take nice screenshots because of the shitty filter they put on them. It's hilarious but frustrating.

Nah, he's referring to things like the vignetting and releveling of the images. If they wanted to save bandwidth, they'd just continue to put more compression or shrink the resolution.
