Good god, i wish Kishimoto just let Sasuke copy the sage mode, its much better than this retcon.

E: the sage using sage chakra is not retcon since Kabuto explained that Jugo's (who is the base of the curse seal) KKG was a pseudo-sage mode (that's why they transform). It uses nature chakra.
This is also why he can communicate with animals.

For fuck's sake, how much longer do we have to get "OOOOOOH HE REMINDS ME OF A GREAT HERO" scenes? It's ok for a while, but it seems like Kishi is doing it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Geez I have no words for this chapter. No action just fluff talk about the past. It was nice to see the 1st Kazekage was a smart guy but Hashirama acting like he did ruined the impact.

Come on Kishi, just another 80 chapters should be a good enough amount for you.

40 flashback and 30 main chapters with the last 10 dealing with the aftermath. Sprinkle in Sasuke vs Naruto in there and you have finished your series.

It felt like Aizen was talking to the Mad Scientist due to his hair and face lol.

Pretty confident in his ability to kill Mayuri even though it would be hard.

As for Sui-Feng, get pwned girl. Walking away from an enemy before making sure he was dead should have you kicked out of Assassination class if you don't die.

Hitsugaya is just plain unlucky. Buzzhead was pretty confident and at least it explains how they are alive after being hit by Old Yama-ji's flames.

Wonder if its an Ice Clone or if Hitsugaya was really hit.

Anyways time for the retreat to start. They have nothing left here to do.

Their ace in the hole Ichigo is still meeting Soul King while some captains are downright missing.

Urahara and co are probably setting up camp in HM and getting ready for the evacuation from former SS. Unohana and Kenpachi are missing. 100s if not 1000s of foot soldiers are probably dead and the 26 Star Knights have only lost one guy with Quilge.

Looking forward to how this trojan horse invasion works out.

Maybe for once the enemy will do something nice and kill off Central 46 which Aizen did last time.

The anime ends before the Christmas Bowl, that's so dumb. So you don't get to see the matches against the Dinosaurs and Teikoku (and the World Cup, but it's not a big deal)...
The anime is shit anyway.

In Anime and Manga, you can always tell a person's power level by their hair. This cat is off the charts.

This is basically Za Warudo, meets shoujo ai, meets god knows what.
I'm already pretty hooked on it though, the ending of the third chapter and how it is handled will determine the flow from here on significantly and thus whether I want to continue or not.
This has some good potential to be pretty great though.

Woah, that one week off made a chapter that progressed more than the other Jump releases. One pretty cool revelation, one huge turn around for Rebecca and some respect for Cavendish, Law loosing :C Good chapter!

Interesting tidbit about the Donquixote family, that would make Dofla a Celestial Dragon but there has to be more to this considering he looked pretty poor as a child.

Great chapter. Now it is pretty clear why both an admiral and CP 0 turned out. DF is a bigger fish than Law figured...but he was still afraid of Kaidou when they mentioned the situation with SAD.

Law being defeated here makes me think he might be the one to eventually defeat DF, particularly because Luffy has already had his fair amounts of run ins with the Shichibukai and doesn't have as much of a reason to beat him down as Law, although having his bros devil fruit is reason enough I suppose.

Also, Cavendish's speak kind of fits...he is the white knight afterall...

Luffy will defeat Doflamingo. I do not know what will occupy or get Fujitora out of the picture though. I like how they didn't reveal the extent of anyone's powers yet, considering they alluded to Law betraying Luffy.

Ehh most people predicted this but its nice to have confirmation of of Don's status. Must have pissed off Mom and Dad like Sabo lol.

Poor Law got pwned heavily. Rebecca and others are on the backburner for now though.

As for Nami and co.... Brook at least got some panel time this arc lol.

I'm not one to disregard asspulls or even like them in Naruto but this was setup for quite some time now.
I mean the cursed seal were known to be special powerups for 2 characters : Kimimarou and Sasuke.
The origin of the Cursed seal was Juugo's cells (that's how that character was even presented).
Juugo could heal Sasuke in the fight against Bee because the Sauce was compatible with the cursed seal and Juugo's chackra.
Turns out that Juugo is from a village of sages or some crap and is key to turning into a Sage for Kabuto.
I mean I don't need to pull each pannel either, if you pay attention it's not a Sharingan asspull at all

Is it wrong that I never get tiring of watching Histuguya talking big then getting owned straight after. Thank god the SR are not being treated like fodder like Espada heck the SR still have tons of powers up left and not even struggling.

I wonder if Kubo going to go for the SS abandoning the seretei due to how strong the SR are hide out in HM making a resistance force. Meanwhile the SR try to figure out a way up to Royal Realm to get a shot at the Soul King to ruin the whole goddamn universe

Should technically be impossible due to fact his past clones are only made due to his bankai activation which he does not have now.

But kubo will probably asspull that he can now create clones without Bankai because he soooo good

Just saying that a mirage and a ice clone are totally different things. He could use ice to refract light to make images of himself.

Whenever I see Author afterwords nowadays, I just can't help but remember the ones for Ressentiment and just how completely self-loathing and cynical they were. God they were hilariously nonchalant to read.

Normally when something like this is pulled it really gives me the shits but Ohtaka handled it really well so props to her. I guess the little spirit version of Scherhazade motioning to Titus to let him (her now?) have a go at being a Magi is what sold it to me. God I love the little comedic bits this series pulls so much.

Hell I'm just really pleased this arc is over and it's mostly back to the Magi we all know and love. :)

not right now that's for sure. Though, it should have been obvious from the beginning. For one, the main bad guy didn't arrive with the crew. Second, Ichigo's not there and likely won't be there for a while as he's still trying in the Royal Realm. Ishida is also not in this round further cementing this will be a complete victory for the Sternritter. Everyone will regroup at Hueco Mundo. There, the true preparation for the final battle will begin.

So this chapter raises the question if the dofla family was originally from dressrosa but left to form the world government and left the kingdom to the Riku family, why did Dofla decide to retake the kingdom as his own?
 
But seriously though, why do all of you hate Hitsugaya so much? Because he really hasn't done anything on the level of horseshit of Obito, Faildara, Natsu, etc.

If you're excuse is that he gets way too much fanservice...this is Bleach...the manga that defines fan-service.
