They really need to make the armor and outfits actual gear to add more customization and layers to the game

I would love that

I prefer they keep the outfits as they are. Sigils and alignment are enough for statistics customisation. I love games where I can wear whatever I want without worrying about stats.

If SS Delta (I hate that it's called that, haha) is native res like the pictures suggest, then awesome. If they are fooling us, FOR SHAME!

I can't tell. I mean, it does look too clean, but there does look like SOME aliasing there. So who knows. Probably supersampled.

Random thought: are Soul Sacrifice and Gravity Rush's soundtrack on anyone else favorite lists?

Bought SS' off PSN, and it's fantastic.

Am I the only one who finds Uncharted Vita to be a pretty bad game?

I beat Uncharted 2 and thought it was a fine 7/10 game. Uncharted Vita feels like an empty 4/10 game. New characters aren't interesting, especially because they all have the "just another day at work" attitude that already applies to every other Uncharted character. There's too much rubbing to do. Why do I have to swipe the menu? It's more cumbersome than using the buttons. There's also the gyro gimmick when crossing logs. It could've been been fine, but the implementation was just too... brief? It didn't feel satisfying.

Speaking of satisfying, the combat doesn't even feel good. Vita sticks just don't feel as accurate as controllers because there's little room to tilt. I actually kinda prefer the PSP nub. :/ I'm finding it very difficult to keep playing this even when I feel burned out at P4G.

If they added lots of things in ss delta that it's nothing more than ss 1.7-8 then i guess that in souls sacrifice 2 we'll see big changes or additions ;)

It looks cleaner than ss but i'm not sure it's native res, maybe it has higher res than ss and/or it has some AA.

What are you basing it off of? Are there direct feed videos or something? Because those screenshots would definitely show native res, but, like I said, they could be supersampled.

Sweet, looks like there are more customization options for your character in SSD.

And there's third option if you don't want to save or sacrifice enemies and players.

Very cool indeed.

Any information about the situation when you own Soul Sacrifice? Can you get the Delta-Stuff for a lower price? Is Delta a full price title?

As I understand it Delta is the basic game and additional stuff: I love Soul Sacrfiice and I would like to support it even more (because I hope on SS2 with a little bit more customaziation), but I'd not pay 35€ for just the additional stuff.

...aaaand SOLD!
as if i wasn't already :P

It's cool that you can mix and match outfits now :)
Off TV footage of SSD at TGS shows that the game is much smoother looking (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhBO4AFTUx4).
Looks great when blown up on a big screen. The weird ground texture pixelation at certain camera angles is still there though. But that's no biggie (unless your username starts with T,
and ends in "otobeni" :P
).
Also, I think the monster wields excalibur, and uses a spell similar to the black right against the players in that video (3/4 way through).

A (really spartan and not well made lol)trailer for valhalla knights 3 that introduces the basic classes(there are specialization too if i'm not wrong)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IlysXCEqGo

Finally a trailer that shows that there are more than one environment! :D

PS:
probably nsfw

Maybe Marvelous has learned to use dinamic resolution.
More like bullshots probably lol
Happy to be wrong though.

mm interesting - there are a bunch of people here who are not fans of UGA, but theres an equal, if not larger amount that consider it 2nd best in the series. No one likes the forced touch gimmicks obviously, but since it was a first year game it was probably mandatory for them to incorporate as much as they could. many people do find the combat to be the most satisfying part of the game - at first the gyro aiming is a little wierd, but once you get used to it, you can't live without it. it makes picking off head shots so awesomely simple. honestly for what it is, i think Bend did a great job transitioning the uncharted experience to the vita, which im sure was no easy task. you do only consider U2 a 7/10, which seems lower than most peoples opinions, so maybe uncharted just ins't a series for you. I still think it's definitely one of the more worthwhile games in vitas library. hopefully youre able to find some other games to enjoy sinking your teeth into!

amazing - congrats dude! let us know your impressions after youve had some time with it.

i haven't played soul sacrifice much since the first couple months it was out. did the graphics really improve a lot in updates? i wasn't really complaining about them before, but that's pretty cool. is the resolution still the same?

Nope, ugly PSone like textures are still in there. still same res.

They shouldn't. Only give more sigils and keep the outfits like they are, that way you're not tied to only one armor/set like some other game...

Definitely. Looking forward to it arriving sometime next week. I've been dying to experience the amazing screen everyone says it has.

It really is great looking. Even my girlfriend who almost never games commented on it one day while i was playing Muramasa, it was just so colorful and bright.

All this Soul Sacrifice talk makes me want to start playing it, but there's like three other games I want to play first, and all I've been playing anyways is Project Diva so it's going to take forever to get around to it.

I had a dream last night that I broke my vita.

I don't really have anything else to add to the thread. It was a very unsettling dream though.

I found it pretty good, although i've only played Golden Abyss and the first Uncharted (just bought U2). The gyro aiming is nice, and once I get used to the camera, I was able to aim (not 100% accurately) without pressing L. So it was moving the camera while covering, pressing L and using gyro aiming a little. It feels specially good with the sniper.

The collectibles were IMO better than in every other Uncharted games. Rubbing simbols and cleaning some antiques made me feel like an archeologist. The design was pretty good, with a lot of stealth stages, shooting sections focused on small group most of the game. And although the boss battles were the worse part of the game, there were sometimes where I honestly thought that touchscreen QTE worked better than physical buttons (I'm looking at you, TR 2013)

I'm downloading Dragon's Dogma right now and will star downloading U2 as soon as it finishes. I'll give a comparision between both games later.

You did well, bro. Welcome to the family.

That's the Vita 2000 calling for you.

Beaten.

Awesome! What games are you looking into buying?
Ive been picking up games during sells and PS+ since I knew I'd pick up a Vita one day. Didn't expect it to be this early, but the sell was really good.

So far I have:
Machinarium, Darkstalkers Chronicles, Limbo, Retro City Rampage, Rayman Origins, Muramasa Rebirth, Dokuro, Metal Slug XX, Virtue's Last Reward, God Eater Burst, Wipeout 2048, Uncharted Golden Abyss, and Gravity Rush.

Plan to buy:
Final Fantasy X & X-2, every Persona, Final Fantasy VI (my favorite), VII, VIII, and IX, Metal Gear Solid collection, and maybe Killzone Mercenaries.

System looks to be a good time already lol.
make sure you import fainaru fantaji exs when it comes out :p ;)
Day 1! (high fives)

You have good tastes xD.

Most people says the first Persona is not as good as the others. Its main problem is that it hasn't aged well at all. Be aware of that.

How do the PS1 Final Fantasy games hold up on Vita? In the EU if that makes a difference.

Some games feel a bit sluggish due to the PAL-format. Most of them still look pretty good on the Vita screen like Grandia, FF-series, Wild Arms. Actually, I think they look amazing compared to the old TV I used to play them on.

Me too!

Except mine worked, flawlessly. In my dream, my screen protector seemed baggy, then my vita was curling inward like a rolled up poster does. It still worked and the screen was still working - the system was just wanting to roll itself up. I contemplated buying a replacement, when I realized it was my white ACL edition (Oct last year), so it was still under warranty.

Very weird dream.

nicotine patches man

Agreed. The story wasn't even good.

Why am I posting this?

I had a dream once. Here's what happened.

I was playing some P4G and I slipped on ice and broke my vita and really hurt my arm. I remember being wicked mad at myself for playing my vita on such a slippery path. I didn't give a shit about my arm, arms heal. After a few minutes of raging and feeling sorry for myself I realized that I was dreaming and wasn't upset anymore. I did a bunch of weird things that I won't get into, but suddenly I awoke to being in my room, in my own bed. I reached over to grab my vita to check the time and it was all smashed and the screen was in pieces. I raged so hard and wanted to scream. That's when I REALLY woke up and realized I had just had a dream within a dream. I started panicking and reached onto my nightstand to make sure my vita wasn't smashed, and found it safely sleeping inside its protective case. I was so relieved, but felt angry the rest of the day for some reason. I didn't take my vita outside for like a week after that.

I dreamed my Vita was stolen some nights ago.
Seeing other people having similar dreams, it seems to be a Vitabro problem. Real dedication to out little favorite handheld ;)
