Greninja isn't what I was hoping for, but to be honest, I really just wanted exactly what we got but with a foam/bubble scarf instead of a tongue.

Delphox is the lamest one, but only because it seems weird to me how it starts out as a completely quadrupedal animal and ends up a tall lanky humanoid.

I don't get people who are calling them "abominations."

On the starters: I really love knights and I had already picked out chespin, so it's a win win. If it is indeed a protect with an additional ability, it will be sick in rotation battles (assuming we still have them).

Stores sign agreements with Nintendo not to break street date. Nintendo is completely within their rights in tracking the store down (that broke this agreement) and that store is completely within its rights to fire the employee that did so (assuming the owner wasn't involved). Doing this 2 weeks in advance is going to bring the hammer down particularly hard.

I really don't understand why this is such big deal to you that you are not going to buy the game. The employee sold this item and the purchaser bought this item knowing they were breaking street date. If the store allowed it they too knew they were breaking street date. They knew there might be consequences for their actions. It was great for us to see this stuff early but the leaker only has himself to blame for being so stupidly brazen about it.

^ This plus the leaker even said he gave the game back so his buddy wouldn't lose his job:

I gave up my copy of the game to try and help keep the local game shop out of trouble and to keep my friend from losing his job.

What Feraligatr is terrible. Most of the gen 2 starters were designed to put you to asleep except Totodile and Quilava. Still undecided on the final evos this gen.

Yep, GF said during BW's post-release disappointment with Gen 2's final starter evos is why most of them change more significantly during evolution in later Gens. They said something like just becoming bigger versions of the first forms was boring people so they try to surprise with the evolutions now.

Overall, I think the evolutions look okay. Better than Gen 5, that's for sure.

Froake's evolution looks amazing, and the other two look alright.

Also, I honestly think Fenniken line is gonna be mostly female. Like 87.5% at least. The entire line(especially with each evolution) looks feminine. Which I don't mind, since previous starters in past games are all 87.5% male.
