We're dealing with the laziest leakers of all time. Where is my Aerodactyl mega, what are all the gym+Elite 4 types, what are the rest of the new Pokemon?

Appease my hunger of knowledge or feel my wrath!

I've never been one to say "FAKE" or "WRONG" to anything Pokemon leaked, unless it is completely obvious, and I still don't put any faith in the "70 new pokemon" or "no post-game" rumors.

^ I doubt there is 'no post game', but the only 70 new Pokemon is looking true judging by the leakers only really running into things we knew about.

I wonder if Nintendo somehow got to the /vp/ and SA leakers. :lol

Yeah, the type seems cool, but the Pokemon using it are pretty meh.

I don't think the first part is right- I think anybody who purchases the game legally, yet early, has every right to post what they find online. Nintendo will fight it by taking down images, etc, but I do not believe the person can get in any real trouble.

As for him losing the game- it sounds like his friend worked at the shop and knowingly sold it to him early. They may have applied some pressure for him to give it up, but its likely he did that in an attempt to save his friend (if Nintendo flew someone to Canada over this I think his friend + the store are in some big trouble though).
If no one can legally sell the game, then how was it a legal purchase?

Nah, the /vp/ leaker went to bed and work, he said he'd be back around the same time he started posting yesterday (around 4 EST)

I actually read in a polygon interview that you can catch all the pokemon in x and y , so 70 new wouldn't be that big of a problem if i can catch all of them! but 70 is a little low but megas are a cool touch.

"X and Y will include all Pokemon from all previous games, offering the largest selection of Pokemon in any of the series' titles."

That just means they'll be available to transfer to the game, or trade for.

It doesn't mean you can catch all of them in the wild.

I wonder if this actually means literally ALL the Pokemon are actually catchable. Otherwise this statement seems a bit "duh" when you factor in the National Dex. Definitely a strange quote.

I just want to know if the music is any good. I love to play Meloetta's Relic Song when someone comes over to hear my guitar playing, they love the tune and wonder where did it come from.

honestly, if work is getting in the way, then just call in sick.

I want to see what the new pseudo-lengendary looks like, and I want to see what Z looks like.

They need to get a move on it.

Just finished watching the first pokemon origin episode. OMG the nostalgia :D

Why couldn't they have made the series this awesome from the get? Instead we got stuck with he biggest loser in anime history

I like Ash though

It kind of sucks that the introduction of Mega Pokemon means that a lot of designs from this point on will be...held back in a sense. Heliolisk still lacks that final form vibe imo, as does Doublade, Slurpuff and Aromatisse. Hawlucha, Carbink and Binacle seem like they should all evolve, but I don't think they do.

Clauncher, Skrelp, Orotto, Dedenne, Noivern, Xerneas, and Yveltal.

These are the only Pokemon that we don't know the location of in the dex. Clauncher and Skrelp will probably go in Coastal, Orotto and/or Dedenne could probably end up with a single space in either Coastal or Central.

There is still an entire Mountain region that is unaccounted for. No leaker has even begun to scratch the surface. Too many of them probably grinded to see the final evolved forms for the starters because that was what EVERYONE really wanted to see. So, I bet there are only like 1-2 people who have even begun to get into the nitty gritty of postgame. A few tops.

I fully believe that we will have ~100 new Pokemon, and a majority of those that we don't know of will be in the Mountain region. Remember Heatmor, the Foongus line, Golurk line, Druggidon, hell go back to Gen 4 and look at Abomasnow. There are always Pokemon you don't see until LATE game.

There's this leaker in /vp/ who didn't post everywhere but there and he was really good. That's why we got shit like OVER 9000!

He's taking his well deserved rest and daily stuff.

It'd be cool if the game went to the levels in the 80's by the champion. it would explain Gamefreak's big attempts to make leveling up easier, as well as the lack of a significant post game as rumored.

Binacle has a space before Dwebble, so it has a chance unless they stick in Corsola or Qwilfish.

It's really like Gen II where there was a boatload of weird, non-evolving Pokemon in the middle...Sudowoodo, Aipom, Yanma, Murkrow, Misdreavus, Unown, Wobbuffet, Girafarig, Dunsparce, Gligar, Qwilfish, Shuckle, Heracross, Delibird, Stantler, Smeargle, and Miltank.

And beyond Wobbs, Shuckle, Heracross, Smeargle, and Miltank, the rest of those dudes had no real redeeming qualities in battle.

Maybe. Its a bit of an odd claim to make if that is the case. Since, that really is the case for almost every Pokemon game.

I agree, but I don't think we are getting 100 new Pokémon, but only 90 at most. Yeah, I am having faith on what Hiro said, even though he was wrong about most things he said about XY

I'm surprised there's no laugh against the wrong starter type mismatch (Grass/Fighting than Grass/Dark, and Water/Dark than Water/Fighting)

I believe that was the general consensus that people thought the typings would go. I think the leaker claimed that greninja was water/dark but no one believed him

It's really incredible that these leakers have barely scratched the surface.

Food team:

Farfetchd
Cherrim
Slurpuff
Vaniluxe

Need two more

Exeggcute, Parasect (bit of a stretch since its Mushroom is used for medicine), Miltank, Ampharos, Tepig, Torchic, Tropius and Krabby.

I'm surprised there's no laugh against the wrong starter type mismatch (Grass/Fighting than Grass/Dark, and Water/Dark than Water/Fighting)

Because the typing rumour just didn't fit from what know now.

Having a lacking post game wouldn't surprise me considering the first batch of games in a new generation has a lacking post game (don't know the full extent of how lacking they're saying).

at this rate, the low amount of exclusives seem to be an indicator that 70 will be a reality.

I'm kind of bummed out about the lack of New Pokemon, but then I remembered how I felt that way when Gen IV came out, but I still had a blast playing through the main game even though it was pretty bare-bones in places.

In fact Gen V, which I was hyped about when I saw all the New Pokemon, I had the opposite reaction and found the main game a bit disappointing due to the linearity and grindy-feeling since you battled way too much between each town/city.

So I'm trying not to get bummed about the probable 70 New Pokemon thing.

Any confirmation of a Heracross/Pinsir Evo?

Nope, Sylveon is currently the only Pokémon that evolves from past Pokémon, everyone else seem to get Mega evolution.

Only cross-gen evos known are still Eevee/Sylveon and megas.

I wouldn't count mega evolution as cross gen evolution, since they more power ups than true evolutions.

Which is why I don't like them or the fact that Game Freak seem to be giving mega evolution more attention than new Pokémon or evolution.

This. I wouldn't be surprised if this dude was right. Honestly what do people expect post game? 3 new routes a battle frontier thing and maybe a few legendaries thats it.

At the very least, if there's no post-game, at least there's a lot of Pokemon to go around catching.

I hope there's an easy way to re-battle Trainers, please bring back VS Seeker!
