Arrrrrggg. GAF. I can't decide which new game to get. Soul Sacrifice or Persona 4 Golden.
For RPGs, i like item hunting, a good story, and good combat.
I'm a little leary of P4G because of the dating and high school required stuff...
There's not a lot of item hunting in P4G... there's some quests where it will be like "go find this enemy in this dungeon and get 4x of the item it drops" but I don't think that's what you're looking for? I thought they were boring and the rewards were generally trivial so there was no incentive to do it in most cases.
The story is good.
The combat is good.
There is no dating required. There's simply a social aspect to the game, but it's integrated in a way so that it's just essentially part of the story as you choose which friends to make and what to do after school, etc.
I wasn't huge on the idea of the "social" part of the game, but it was really fun during the first playthrough and during the second I was still interested in checking out the relationships I hadn't maxed the first time.
Maxing some is required for extra dungeons and some endings and such, but it's never really a chore and sometimes there's some nice perks to actually working on them.
It's very well done.
That said you should buy both, because they're two of the main reasons for anyone to own a Vita.
i am not a damn girl, stop sending me friend requests.
U R a GRRL?
i wiLL sEnd u a FR, k?
Social links != dating. Both are good games but I certainly got more enjoyment from P4G.
Truth on the social links.
For me, I got more enjoyment out of Soul Sacrifice.
If it'll make you feel better, I have both P4G and Growlanser 4 in my Vita backlog =V
My backlog has a lot more than that in it.
lol.
but yeah I agree Near is stupid and pointless, either just make it function like Nintendo's streetpass (it's ok to copy that) or just remove it.
also awful Welcome Park need to go away from every Vita, and an option to hide the text under the bubbles should be there...there are tons of thing they need to do to this outdated boring UI.
I find streetpass to be stupid and don't really care for it other than occasionally trolling 3DS owners by telling them to buy a Vita.
So take it or leave it, I don't really care. If they made it more like streetpass, I still wouldn't care.
All said though, I'd LOVE to be able to delete Welcome Park. And they should let us choose to uninstall things like Maps too and just make them free apps on the store should we want to reinstall them some day.
Aaaaannnd that, i have like 4gb left in my 16gb card. I want a 32gb but the bestbuy promo is not working for me.
My JRPG backlog consists of FFIX and VII for my vita. Ni No Kuni, KH1.5, Suikoden, and Dragons Crown for my PS3 D:
Dragon's Crown is not a JRPG.
And you bought it on the wrong platform.

If you focus on playing through P4G, you can just delete it when you're done. That's what I did after getting the platinum.
