Any gym leaders have been leaked yet?
Lol noThere's no pretending. Hoenn sucked.

R/S level supposedly. Which is...fine?
R/S had lots to explore and a Battle Tower, that's all I could possibly want.
Paid DLC = Bad
Paid Pokemon Storage = Good
Gotcha.
Does X/Y have Day/Night and seasons?
Hey so why does Charizard have 2 different mega evolutions but the others don't?
Most of the Pokémon who are getting mega evolutions didn't even need one. I was hoping for them to give some of the weaker guys a time in the spotlight, like Farfetch'd or something. Instead, we get freakin' Garchomp and Gengar.
Everyone who thinks Hoenn sucks is terminally ill. I highly suggest you go to the hospital and figure out what's wrong.

pretty much: there is a "charizardinite x" and "charizardinite y" but only a "venusaurite" and "blastoisoid" or whatever they're called. Is that confirmed?

Didn't the postgame for B/W have battle facilities, unlock half the region and old pokes as well as the locate the seven sages? Thats a pretty damn good amount.Just think, we are like three or four years off from a possible Diamond/Pearl remake.
... DAY ONE
The lack of a post game is pretty worrying. When I beat BW I thought, "uh... where's the stuff to do?" HGSS had a metric ton of post game content that to completely ditch that is jarring. Looks like XY will be the same, with maybe a new route or two and a super cave with the Z legendary.
There could be some positives though. For one, if super training is all its cracked up to be, it will make training competitively a lot easier, so people who have never been into that aspect of the game can easily jump in. Also, the 3DS has much better online presence than the DS, so I could see a lot of Wifi events in the future to keep people coming back. Since the Pokebox is coming in December, I could see them releasing some occasional additional content to get people reinterested.
No defense is boosted a bit.Not sure if posted but here's the stat differences between Charizard and Mega Charizard X from the IGN review.

looks like we get low-leveled gym leaders again ;__;
That's a HUGE increase in Defense, actually. About 37 base points. The Attack increase is just under 50 base points and Sp. Atk is around 20.

I like to think of the Stick (and the bone club for Cubone...though honestly Marrowak did not need it) as being early attempts at this sort of thing. But yeah competitively large swathes of the catalogue will never be usable (e.g. Beedrill) even if they are okay for single player for a short window (Beedrill base stat total is high for early on). Most of the Pokémon who are getting mega evolutions didn't even need one. I was hoping for them to give some of the weaker guys a time in the spotlight, like Farfetch'd or something.
That's B/W2.
B/W was pretty sparse iirc.
If this responses picking up, I'll do the same and declare every Mewtwo fans to be terrible!
The only thing bad about Hoenn are water, rival, and music. Otherwise it's pretty good.
B/W2 are fantastic games and my favorites in the series.People really have to be negative about everything. uh?
Oh and there's a difference between Physical moves and contact moves right? I think I remember that Grass Knot is a Special move despite making contact since it can activate Flame Body etc.
If there was one thing Hoenn ever did right is have a legitimately awesome Champion in Steven.
Until they royally fucked that up in Emerald.
The one he described was B/W actually. It was a lot like Hoenn where it did add a bit to areas you already visited and had a short postgame quest involving Looker and the sages.
B2/W2 was significantly better though.
Wait, Mr. Mime is Psychic/Fairy now?!
He said "unlocking half the region" though, and I don't think B/W locked out half the region before post-game like B/W2 did.

Hoenn has my favourite pokemon soundtrack ):
It did. The entire right side of the map wasn't accessible until the postgame.
No Gen 3 is where we got all the whiny fans who hated experimentation and change of flow. Hoenn was a nice tropical place and for once the region was discovered in a nice unique way on top of a ton of tropes being broken.I feel like Hoenn is where we picked up the fans who would taken Pokemon who looked like any fucking thing.
Only legit complaints but I could come up with lists much worse for Johto and Sinnoh and make every tiny thing into a huge deal like you just did. Also I don't get how you can say Hoenn's color was washed out. It was incredibly beautiful and colorful given the hardware. Especially compared to the previous gens. I'd say D/P was more washed out color wise and Johto pokes mainly used pastel colors.Strike 4: water...EVERYWHERE...

No it wasn't. I never played B/W2That's B/W2.
