Pokemon X and Y Leaks, Releases Early

The last thing I'd describe Zygarde as is "simple". But that's to his credit, because looks scary with his hexagonal eyes and hood. I think the people using him as an excuse to drop the series were already on their way on and it's just serving as a convenient excuse.

Now I wonder what his inevitable Z form is.

Only problem with Zygarde for me is his model looks really tiny and pretty cute, he looks like he could be a non-Legendary, but that's probably because he'll have a true form like Kyurem or something. The Sugimori Art might look more imposing.

I also thought Klefki was supposed to be a Legendary at first, until I noticed it was in a Trainer Battle.

Can't wait to use this guy. Great for catching the right Pokemon.

Synchronize + Simple Beam = :D

There are a lot of Pokemon that are way more over designed that him. But yes, those people should have taken Vanilluxe as a sign to get out of the series, because that Pokemon is way more offensive than Zygarde in that regard. I still think he looks awesome and matches perfectly with Xerneas and Yveltal

My idea for it was an angry Lobster that literally boiled because it was so mad.

Clawitzer would've made a nice Water/Fire honestly.
I think it'd be cool if Pokémon Z added Mega Evolutions for Gen VI Pokémon, including a Water/Fire Mega Clawitzer with a flamethrower arm. Also, a Mega Chestnaught, Mega Delphox and Mega Greninja would make it feel like a whole new game, as well. Then add guaranteed Shiny Pokémon (like the Black Haxorus you can find in B2/W2), wild starters (I.E. wild Piplup, etc), and hell, just roll all of Hoenn into the game and make it so you traverse both it and Kalos in a new storyline, and that would be one hell of a pseudo-sequel right there.

By "people" you mean R0ckman, who dismissed people for having bad taste because he couldn't figure out why something appealed to them.

Zygarde seems like it could go places. I'm liking the details of its design. It's very blatantly alien, malicious and inscrutable. My favorite kind of pokemon. It's got sensory organs everywhere to watch everything that goes on and is plotting for the decimation of those that disrupt its world. (Not unlike a certain other serpentine pokemon.)

Also those nubs on its belly are totally going to become tentacles for its new form.

Well in that case guess we can expect everything before the end of the year lol.

Names, types, stats and such, but pictures? Not so much.

Zygarde gives me the exact same feelings Kyurem gave me, that he would turn into something great. I personally think that turned out great so I have high expectations for the future of Zygarde.

Also the people quiting Pokemon because of XY is hilarious.

I've noticed that the models of large pokemon don't seem to be as imposing as they should. Klefki does look like something you'd expect from a generation's pixie legendary. Anyone else think we'll get a Ratatosk squirrel to fill that position?

Bow down before Valerie's Sylveon fairy eyes

The Pokemon Company really doesn't want leaks, huh.

Did other stores providing leaked copies go out of business too in previous games?

I like Most of those designs, but what the fuck is up with Valerie's sleeves?

That is where she is hiding the other 30+ new Pokemon

I'm more concerned about her neck.

Eh, they all have pretty thin necks.

Apparently a store in my city sold the game. I guess the people who bought it didn't post anything on the internet. They might have, I don't know. I just called the store and asked them if they had copies of the games in yet and the guy said they're sold out and that they sold out at launch like a week ago. I asked him if he's sure it's X and Y for the 3DS and not any of the other Pokemon games and he said yeah they got them in, they're sold out right now, and they won't be getting in more stock until the 16th or whatever.

I actually like normal Kyurem more than its Fusion Forms.

Anon post about 2 days ago:
Heyo guys, it's the guy who knows Kosthedin in real life, and the guy who knows the store owner who leaked a bunch of copies of x/y personally.

A few people I know have gone down and returned their copies and were talking to the guys at the store about what happened. Some local idiot (Kosthedin) got the game and proceeded to dump pictures and video of absolutely everything on Instagram. Nintendo got pissed, demanded that the store get back all of their copies "however they can," have sent reps up to collect the returned games. One of their demands involved the store get photos of the leaker returning his copy of the game (which they did), and Nintendo may be fining them as much as $2000+ for every copy of the game that they don't get back (last count I heard was, of the 42 copies that were sold, there are still around 16 copies that haven't been returned. At two grand a hit, that's a hell of a fine.) There's a huge pile of legal shit on the go right now, and nobody really knows what's gonna happen with the business or its staff.

The Nintendo rep that was there even said that had it not been for that one asshole posting up everything and leaking shit as he did, everyone who bought the game could have kept their copies to play and nobody would have been bothered (hence why early game drops were never really an issue before).

So basically this one dude is why we can't have nice things.

I like how all three have a consistent level of ornamentation to them, along with black as a major part of their design. Your point about its eyes finally put words to something I've felt since I first saw it. Its eyes have the same effect as a camera: unblinking, and you can imagine him slowing tracking things with his head (like a camera). Which feeds right into its theme as a monitor, an overseer.

None of the new gym leaders approach Elesa in terms of sheer awesomeness, but it wouldn't be fair to expect GameFreak to ever top her. Her B2W2 form, in particular, is perfection.

Regarding Zygarde -- I adore his design. He looks primordial and otherworldly. The compound eyes made of geometric shapes... The radioactive color scheme... The radar-esque structures on his back... His pokedex says he monitors activity in the ecosystems above ground, which suggests to me he's more "good" than "evil."

Or perhaps "neutral" is the right word -- if Xerneas nurtures and Yvetal destroys, perhaps Zygarde is the arbiter that maintains harmony in balance. Not unlike Rayquaza's role in relation to Groudon and Kyogre.

At any rate, there's a beautiful symmetry and repetition of pattern to Zygarde's design, which along with the unique color scheme and alien face makes me really dig him. And apparently he's about as strong as vanilla Garchomp (and thus weaker than Mega Garchomp)? Maybe Zygarde will be permissible in OU and not relegated to Ubers...

With that attitude rockman is better off just leaving. I hate Scrafty, I think he is the dumbest looking thing. Gaf seems to be in love with him (at least a few are anyways) and that's fine. If I thought people had bad tastes for liking Scrafty I would be an idiot.

Kosthedin dun goofed

I know the store is mainly the blame but it's unfortunate.
This was inevitable as soon as Kosthedin compromised that store's location.
Surrendering his copy was foolish given that the damage was already done.
There was no way that they were going to recover what they sold from Josh and everyone else that contributed to their "2K per copy" fine.

I would not have returned my copy. Maybe that makes me a dick, idk but I would not have even thought of returning it.

I wouldn't either. It's the store's owner's fault for selling it so early. As a game store they should know the proper launch date. I wouldn't have been as dumb as that guy who put all the pictures on his instagram though. Why not leak through somewhere anonymous like 4chan and other like sites? (Which is what one guy is doing.)

If we that assume the store sold about 45 copies(which is about what we heard but it could've been even higher when all was said and done) and there were fined 2k a copy the store had to pay at least 90k to Nintendo and that's deadly for a store.

Look at the responses I'm seeing "cools" "awesomes" and "gimmies". I literally felt like everyone around me had finally just lost it all and went full batshit. Kind of like when I was doing this charity thing with my wife and there were all these free toys for kids, the little girls had pretty good taste. But the boys (in first 2nd grade) would come up and see a cool dinosaur but instead become fixated on a worn out play container with nothing on it? Wtf? I guess the same reasoning applies to older people and pokemon designs.

I am finding your genwunner attitude to be very annoying, just because you see the appeal of a certain Pokémon doesn't mean that everyone does.

Quite frankly you're doing the right thing in leaving the Pokémon series as it's quite clear that you have out grown it.

In terms of the number of all-new designs, this generation is on par with II and IV when you include the Mega Evolutions. And you should include the Mega Evolutions, unless you're going to discount, say, the dozens of evolutions like Magmortar, Electivire, etc, which were introduced in Gen IV.

I am sorry but you cannot compare Mega evolution to a traditional evolution as Mega evolution aren't new species, permanent or get counted in the Pokédex.

Hell Mega evolution aren't even really new Pokémon and are no different from form change.

I will never include mega evolution as part of the new Pokémon numbering.

What? Damn. How did they know which store leaked it?

The leaker did a bad job covering his track.

Do all you guys play Smogon rules? I noticed the tiers mentioned a lot here.

I don't and I refuse to battle with anyone who does.

Do you guys think they could make Gardevoir exclusively female by blocking the transfer of male Gardevoir through PokeBank?
Maybe changing the gender in the transfer, but not block. I doubt they'd just say fuck you to anyone who had a Male Gardevoir. What if it was shiny?

They've already gone 2 gens without changing Gardevoir in that sense, dont see why they'd bother with it here, even with how the mega evo looks.

Why would mega Gardevoir need to be female? Just because it looks feminine or masculine (Hi Machamp) does not mean it has to be female or male.
