Also I noticed some things about Zygarde:
1. It has a lot of hexagons in it's design. The nickname for Metropolitan France is 'The Hexagon".
2. The typing Dragon/Ground is interesting. Xerneas is immune to Dragon and Yveltal is immune to Ground. So it does have some sort of connection with the other two legendaries.

I've seen people say online when they pre-paid they normally got it 2 days before release.

Not sure whether that happens 100%, but I had the money at the time so I figured why not see if it happens to me.

Its a bit of a risk. I'm justing doing a store pickup on the 12th. My ordering options for delivery were all predicting like a week after (free shipping and handling of course), so it didn't feel like a chance worth taking.

I know you can get a Torchic holding its Megastone through distribution for the first two months after release or something.

Don't know about the others. Maybe there are NPC's ingame who can trade it to you. Maybe they're catchable (doubt it). And you can always trade.

You can get a Torchic from Wi-Fi Event from this Saturday onwards i believe. It has the item to allow Blaziken to Mega-Evolve.

That's all thats known apart from the Kanto Starters, afaik.

I'm going to see if I can run a team with no overlap from each gen:

Gen 1: Jolteon
Gen 2: [TBA]
Gen 3 (technically): Mega Blaziken
Gen 4: [TBA]
Gen 5: Ferrothorn
Gen 6: Greninja

So far are confirmed, although if I go Mega Charizard X for my fire type, I'll have to re-adjust the team a bit. The last two slots are undetermined and might force me to halt this kooky idea of mine.

I might try doing this and not having any type overlaps either.

Binacle looks like the Magikarp of this gen imo. Goes from something that looks pretty useless, to something that looks like it could suplex Groudon.

for those that missed a late night post i had - Maximum affection in Amie causes new trainer lines while the pokemon is in battle, you can cure your pokemon's status changes midbattle and doesn't take up a move(it said i blew on
Sylveon's burn and it went away), more crits.
