He tried this once already. And all we've got to show for those troubles is more mutinies, and since the threat of mutiny has been shown to be profitable, we're left with a guarantee of more to come down the line at every opportunity.

Biden isn't needed for any of this since there is no deal to be made. Reid and Obama don't want the Republicans there is one to be had either. Were there one he'd be front and center.

Don't remember which forum it was, but I remember having a conversation about what kind of super power you wanted, and one of the choices was the ability to summon Iggy Pop to appear, and punchout the designated target. The target would be imparted the knowledge of why they were being punched, and there were no consequences to the wielder of the power (or Iggy Pop) for performing this action. You had a total of 5 uses of the Iggy Pop power.
I'm pretty sure I'd have used up the Iggy Pop power this week, possibly all 5 uses on Boehner.
I'm up for funding research on this power.

Except the only problem here is that Boehner is not respected the process of our Democracy, and threatens the very foundation of how our government works. All over the fact that he is a sore loser and is more concerned with his Speaker-ship than ending this foolhearted effort to undermine ACA because they lost at every democratic process.

That's fine, Obama can just sit down and point out all of the concessions that have already been made and that he won't bend any further. Then boner can ramble on and show everyone that he's an idiot. But force everyone to see it. No closed doors with separate press releases telling different stories.

After passing a clean CR and raising the debt ceiling. Funding the government and raising the debt ceiling are not up for negotiation.
Yea, it won't do anything because Republicans don't want to fund any of the Democratically vetted Affordable Care Act. They wish to defund it entirely, there is no middle ground on this issue with them, and Boehner does not want to lose his speakership because he is a weak leader.

Haha I'm so happy Obama isn't caving here. For the people saying he should have done this years ago, his whole platform was on negotiating and changing the partisanship in Washington so coming out in the beginning and plain out stating I'm not negotiating would have not been good.
Also I can't believe polls are showing people actually blame everyone for this situation. At this point, I've already accepted the default is coming
