Pokemon X and Y Leaks, Releases Early

Can't say I care either; unfortunate for those that do, I suppose, but I have used it cumulatively less than five minutes since I got my system.

We only needed the 3D models, not the dumb gimmick haha.
That said, I like 3D when it's done right, like the Ace Attorney 5 demo, it never bothered my eyes.

What would you prefer people... A bunch of post-game content, or multiple save files? Post-game content gives you a bunch to do, but only one character to do it. Multiple save files has even more appeal than it used to with character customization.

Yep. 3D is disabled for overworld and battles with more than 2 pokemon on screen. There's also apparently noticeable frame rate hitches even in the 1 v 1 battle when using 3D. Sounds like GF initially planned 3D everything, but had to go back and disable stuff when the ran into massive performance issues.

There are still framedrops in 2D. Sometimes, the screen zooms in on your pokemon and the opponent (divided by a diagonal line) and then the framerate takes a pretty noticeable dip. It disappears the moment the camera changes to the standard view though.

I have slightly less use for multiple saves, now that I know Pokemon Bank is coming - I'll just drop all of my Pokemon on there and not worry about starting new games, storing eggs/starters/trade bait and whatnot.

Multiple save files is never happening.

Post-game
I don't care about replaying the game.

Post game. Hell I would like an entire post E4 adventure.

Expand that pokemon worl

That list is really stupid lol.
Since the thread has died down quite a lot, might as well post the WoS

:lol I just make it in.
I feel honored.
Why aren't you able to remove your hat? I thought the trainers fully customizable. That kinda sucks if you're forced to keep the hat but can change everything else.
They don't want trainers without hats(though you can change hats) and no hat is being used for the rivals IIRC
I love them for stuff like this.

I need that Pokemon now.
Vivillon, Garden Pattern (via /vp/)

I lioke that one.

I guess this must be like the normal-Y inverted-Y issue (tip: inverted is the right way); the only time I ever deactivated the 3D feature was for BIT.TRIP SAGA, because of how it's even difficult to tell it's on and the massive drop in fps.

MK7, SM3DL, OoT3D, FE:A, EOIV... All better in 3D, especially FE:A and OoT. I'm really annoyed X/Y don't support 3D all the time.

Also, my eyes never get tired, and I'm shortsighted, in case that should mean anything.

I am joking but from what I have read, the post game content is jackus shiticus.

Could you share what you've read in a spoiler or something? I really want to know more about this.

Like, is there one cave? Is there a house you can get to that you couldn't get to earlier with a dude who does a thing?

I want to make comments because I can, I can express when I think something is bad. Thats an easy conclusion to come to. My post was not asking a question or even left open to respond to.

The image I responded to however does highlight the kind of designers the team is bringing on and I think the fact that the original designers no longer work on the series is an important factor some people need to know.

Gen III is the new Gen II

Gen IV is the new Gen III

Can't wait until Superior Sinnoh gets the same treatment in few years.

Honestly though, I'm surprised at how beloved Hoenn has become, it was absolutely reviled by the fanbase 10 years ago

3 Legendary birds as roamers, cave with Z Legendary and your typical battle subway like system (though I'm not sure what the battle options in there are). Might be some other small things, but that sounds like the majority of it.

So there isn't, like, a Diamond style new island where you can catch past pokemon that weren't available throughout the rest of the game?

Are we so sure they'll do two gens again? That said... the only system that hasn't had two playable gens is the GBA, and that had a really short lifespan.

Now that the major engine work is out of the way they can based Gen VII heavily on Gen VI's engine as they upgrade it slowly with remakes or third versions, like they did with Gen V.

There're apparently more Pokemon to capture, and there are some places on the map that remain a mystery (ice caves and such), so it'll have to wait, since most of the leakers have been sort of quiet on that front.

I really like the sequel idea mixing up the order of the towns as opposed to just a third version with different legendary focus. Black 2 is the only "third" version I've ever bought, (apart from Yellow but that was my first).

Also, playing HG right now and... Pokemon following you and Pokeathlon both need to return.

It's got at least another three years in it (though that last year it might be sharing with the new system, but Black and White launched the same year as the DS!)

The hand held market is weird, it kind or meshes with the home consoles, then it kind of doesnt. And it ussually ends when nintendo says it does, for obvious reasons.

We shall see, How long till Z though?

Sinnoh was awesome. Hated the trainer design for the male MC, but such a great game. Can't wait to the 4DS remake!

With Emerald and Platinum they came after the remakes, but Gen V had no remakes due to them probably wanting to wait until this current gen. My bet;

Ruby/Sapphire 3D - Early 2015
XZ/YZ - Mid-Late 2016

With different teams working on them, like HG/SS and B&W
