Pokemon X and Y Leaks, Releases Early

Additionally, if you have more than two Pokémon facing off such as in Double or Triple battles, the 3D effect will turn itself off.
Confirmed :(

Overall, I found the game balance in Pokémon X and Y very strange. I was always overlevelled, yet I wasn’t having an overwhelmingly easy time in battles, especially as time went on. In other words, I feel like the game should have been much easier, but sometimes it was even more difficult, especially when I was at a type disadvantage. As a result, wild Pokémon battles, where there were a variety of types possible, presented more of a challenge than Gyms, which focused solely on one type.

Since it's part normal maybe it'll have a decent movepool lol

Hopefully, the thing is asking for a Match Punch though, but at least it resist bullet punch and aqua yet.

Prediction time, which pokes do you think will see a rise and descent in popularity?

I'm thinking Heracross will be decreasing since the alleged (no pics) Fairy/Flying Togekiss just walls the fuck out of him. Bug resist X4,Fighting Resist X4, Inmune to Ground and hits in with stab 4X effectiveness with Flying or 2X Effectiveness with Fairy.

Togekiss will obviously raise in usage since it's immune to Both Garchomp Stabs. Which mean scarfed or Banded Chomps get a free swift.

I'm predicting Magnezone to be used more also, with Steels on the offensive now (heck Lucario might even sport Flash Cannon o_O) it would be good to have a solid trapper.

The Fire toad (forgot the name, I'm not a competitive player) will be sporting a nice Quad Fairy resist which increase its usage again.

So many variables. I'm excited.

I personally think it's of the worst-looking Pokémon of the sixth generation... and I really like Meowstick too. :(
I like Espurr now because I can see his eyes and it's clear to me they've drawn inspiration from actual kittens this time around. Kittens, at their youngest, have beady lil' eyes that Espurr conveys so nicely. :)

Regarding Meowstick, I really dig the male design, in particular, but as I understand it, it's more of a "support" Pokemon while the female is better suited to sweeping?

Huzzah!

Have had my review copy for 8 days now, has anyone else had it crash their 3DS? Only when playing this game I've had it shut down my 3DS completely once in standby and twice in gameplay, still had 3/4 battery. Wonder if its just an issue with the downloadable version and will be patched.
Oh god, don't say that. :/

I think to achieve this they just gave the enemy Pokemon better EVs/IVs. Moreso than in the past, Joey's Ratatta excluded.

That makes sense. The article also said that the AI is smarter as one of the trainers used Water Sport to decrease Fennekin's Fire attacks.

I think my team is going to be

Blastoise
Talonflame
The sword things final Evo ghost/steel
Pangoro
Gogoat
The dragon rock trex

Question. I beat black before but never did post game. You can catch any non event pokemon there? How does it work the guide I saw online is super confusing.

Given the recent leaks and the approaching release of a new pokemon iteration, I restarted Pokemon Black but I'm unsure of whether I should bother with it.

Am I better off getting X/Y and just investing in that in ten days or less, or are there vast numbers of pokemon I can obtain from Black that I won't be able to in X/Y?

My worry is of training many older and favorable pokemon in black only to encounter them in X/Y and not want to do it all over again.

Also, I should note that I am not big on transferring unless the pokemon being transferred are rare obtainables.

Blastoise is a starter...

Unless they've changed it up, pretty much every Pokemon that learns Water Sport is, in fact, a Water Pokemon, meaning they basically wasted a turn when they could just hit Fennekin with a Water-type attack.

In fact I remember Water Sport and Mud Sport being moves that wild Pokemon would spam all the time in the older games, regardless of their use.

That being said, Josh did say that a Horde of Seviper, after beating up Zangoose, used Swagger on each other + a Berry to raise each other's attack while then getting rid of the confusion, which is pretty awesome and above the usual A.I. of Wild Pokemon.

An example of this is Water Sport being used by a bug trainer, preventing me from making efficient use of my Fennekin’s Fire attacks.

Is Surskit the only bug that can learn Water Sport?
