Pokemon X and Y Leaks, Releases Early

Is it me or does the map and cities in this game look empty...like not much to do?where the pokemon stadiums and domes and stuff..

Maybe its because I loved Gen 3 to much, but I think they need to bring back diving and caves and stuff.

GameFreak could easily turn Gyarados into some sort of mystical god and slap the Psychic type on his Mega form. They don't have to go the obvious route of "oh he's mean, make him Dark" or the even more obvious route of "he's a fanged flying serpent, make him Dragon." Psychic would be unexpected but feel oddly appropriate given the new color scheme, the pearls, the head and overall sense of majesty rather than dread. A mystical dragon-god. :)

I feel you're just imposing a highly vague and individualistic interpretation of "mystical." Not trying to rain on your parade or anything.

Looking at the base stats, Greninja and Delphox are both gonna be great. Chesnaught on the other hand... Not so much IMO.

However one thing that can be said about Chesnaught's design is that it lends itself to having a much better move set than the vast majority of grass Pokemon, starters or otherwise, are capable of learning. Maybe it'll have a good moveset like Sceptile and Torterra.

I just love how homely the beginning of X and Y feel. Like an ode to older Pokémon fans. Openings like this resonate with you.
 
I'm thinking of picking Y up soon. What do you guys think, is there there preference of og 3ds vs xl? I did have an xl for a couple weeks before returning it due to not having time to play it at the time. Cant make up my kind. Appreciate your opinions!
 
So, I decided to back away from the thread as you guys were discussing story spoilers and shit. Other than that, has there been any new things leaked from the game? I know of the leaked info up to and including the Mega Tyranitar balloon.

We'll never have the glory that was G/S/C (HG/SS) again. They just don't want to do it. Not only was it the only game where you had two whole regions to explore, the sequel went on to make it so that you also could have any pokemon walk behind you. Best fucking gen ever.

The reason G/S/C was as big as it was, was because they were not going to make any more pokemon games after it. It was supposed to be the big finish.

Wasn't this already disproved a few pages back? Only one guy said it was gonna be HIS last pokemon game and then went on to become head of the Pokemon Company.

I simply cannot for the life of me figure out if I like Chesnaught or not. I'm going with the frog so it's irrelevant but I seem to be swinging between 'this is OK' to 'this is absolutely dreadful'.

Also the people that are going YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO RESIST are swinging my opinion to the latter.

Funny, I always remembered that G/S we're suppose to be the last Pokemon games. Especially how some of the legendary Pokemon tie together with first gen.

Then the first episode of the anime had Ho-Oh.

I firmly believe Chesnaught can take off its armor because it looks detachable (acts like a cape) and it works as a shield.
