Noone escapes alive.
What is Based. I keep seeing this everywhere.
The Based God
Also, Mega Gengar with Shadow Tag, and i'm guessing improved special attack and speed stats? Yessss.

Couldn't they just switch out?Shadow Tag gengar...The death of fighting choice item users.
The Dexes extend beyond 150, it seems. Moltres is Coastal #153.
Haha, German Pokemon names. Knuddeluff sounds like something you'd put on your hot chocolate to make it all marshmallowy and delicious.
Mega Gengar shouldn't be switching into something with earthquake. The point of shadowtag is to switch it into a favorable situation and abuse that to set something up.
Mega Gengar would already have to be holding his Mega Stone though.![]()
Couldn't they just switch out?
Gengar still needs to activate the Mega Stone to get Shadow Tag.

Edit: Drasna why do you look like Joanna!
That sounds really strategic.Let's say opponent wants to switch in a choice scarfer to check Gengar. Gengar uses Substitute in the meantime. Scarfer uses a move, any move to break the sub. Gengar's sub breaks. Gengar mega transforms uses Disable! Choice user struggles! Choice user can't switch out!

Let's hope Disable's accuracy has improved!

Wait activating mega stone has higher priority than switching out?Since megaevolving doesn't waste a turn, Gengar comes in, mega evolves, has shadow tag now, opponent can't run lol.
Edit: may have read that wrong....
Oh didn't know that, I've never used Disable in Gen V.It's already improved. It's 100% in Gen V.
If true, holy shit.
Not really, as a matter of fact it's quite awful. Hyper Voice is the most poweful special normal attack, at BP 90, the same as Psychic, and she doesn't even learn it AFAIK.
Trace is way better.
I don't know if it was confirmed but apparently:So do we know what past Pokémon are exclusive to which version?
I thought it was Axew for X and Bagon for Y.I don't know if it was confirmed but apparently:
Gible for X
Bagon for Y
As they were both found in the same area in each version.

Still hits Fairy super effective, mind you.Eh, sucks Gengar is still a stupid poison second type. Too many weaknesses for my favorite Pokemon, and its Mega adds yet another weakness.
Why u no mega

He's already a beast.
At least that's good. That means its ghost moves won't be useless to the some of the once normal type pokemon.
Uh, no, even if they're half-Normal type, they're still useless. At least that's good. That means its ghost moves won't be useless to the some of the once normal type pokemon.

Wonder how Ghost moves will affect Normal/Fairy Pokemon (like Wigglytuff)? Will Ghost moves be useless, like how Psychic type moves are with any Dark type, no matter what the Dark type Pokemon might have for its second type?
Gardevoir can learn Hyper Voice via move tutor.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and call Azumarill and Gengar as OU. They've both been buffed way too much to NOT be (not even including Mega Gengar).
