Even if you can only use one in battle, how are you supposed to stop them without specific counters?
Mega Alakazam for example. That thing will outspeed 99% of it's foes and it's Sp Attk is so high that it'll OHKO a lot of foes who aren't even weak to it.

One thing I actually like about megas is that they're so powerful I won't feel obligated to carry my legendary around with me.

Pretty sure Riolus can be found in the first few routes, and I think you get a Lucario with a mega stone after the 4th gym.

Riolu can be caught before the 1st gym and it's the third gym you get Lucario after (I just got it!)

I need moar of these things. I forgive the low amount of new pokemon because of the amount of MEGA pokemon.
I hope that the coloring for the Mega Evolutions is tied to the original Pokemon's colors... so that a Shiny Mega Evolution would be different than a normal Mega Evolution.
Also, I hope that a Shiny Charizard's X Mega Evolution is white.

So, I read the Legendary Birds apparently flee before you have a chance to do anything...I'm wondering, has anyone tried Mega Evolving first before that? Maybe that's how they'll stay.
Also, wow, I'm liking all the Megas so far...Manetric is kind of odd, but I'm loving it since I was going on about how I knew it was getting one based on that one promo picture I saw and, bam, I was right.

You can get them before the Elite Four.. Earthquake requires usage of Surf, Strength and possibly Waterfall? Can't quite remember.
