That's kind of low of a Mega. I though all of them had legend like Base Stats.
The spread is pretty nice though. I like it. Hopefully Banette stats are know, it's going to be tough choosing only one Mega so I hope he is up to par, since I'll be having Blaziken and Aggron in my team.

In Gen V you were just limited using these names via online, now you can't use them period.
Who knows how this will effect Pokemon traded from Gen V? It's suck if it somehow blocked a Pokemon Bank Pokemon from being imported due to some oversight in the name. Hope they fix the weirder ones.

It's the worldwide release fault it seems, some of them are close to foreign naughty words, and unlike in Gen V, it's not regional based it seems. Like "viol" is rape in French, thus Viola sets off a flag.
I can't give you hard numbers, but a guaranteed catch while in the red? I better be able to catch every pokemon on first try with a Pokeball otherwise in the amber. Just seems disproportionate and antithetic to the circumstances.

Am I the only one who would like them to make Nicknames changeable by other trainers or even to reset them when being traded? I understand the philosophy behind keeping them permanent, but banning a huge list of terms to get around curses in every language just seems like the wrong way to solve this problem.

Based off what I'm seeing, the shiny encounter rate has seen a significant boost (many of the high profile leakers have seen at least one). Plus I assume that you can see if they're shiny or not on the selection screen. If so I could just save right before I choose one and then soft reset, right? Shouldn't take that long, hopefully.
I'll just try it for like three hours and then give up after that I suppose

Edit: My biggest fear is that a shiny for one of the Starters that I don't want will appear. I am not sure I will be able to turn it down, because I will feel really stupid when I turn it down and never get the shiny for Froakie.
