I know that feeling. I had Y physical preordered, but have been watching streams most of the day and decided to just go ahead and get X digital, no matter how hard Nintendo's online infrastructure tried to stop me.
 
Gotta wait till tomorrow morning to pick my copy up from Gamestop (They decided to open early instead of a midnight release......:cryfam:)

I'll be on Y but my friend code is 3737-9521-6145. PM for the add...will be trading and whatnots...

My download moved holy shit it's at 60% now. I still won't be able to play tonight since it will be 2am or later when it's over. I will dream about catching all the manz though.

Poor Jynx got shafted, and her lengthy relationship with Magmar and Electabuzz was over. Maybe they're saving her evolution until a later generation, I hoped.

Although the fifth generation focused entirely on new Pokémon, I was still happy because Jynx was supposedly obtainable in the Giant Chasm, Kyurem's whereabouts. Unfortunately, this mysterious location could only be accessed post-game, but according to the recent leaks, Black and White 2 were going to change that. Finally I could use Jynx without having to defeat the Elite Four... or so I thought. Much to my disgust, Jynx was quite literally the only Pokémon in the entire cave to be removed from Black and White 2 and thereby the retconned Unova dex. At least I still have my battle simulators like Showdown and Pokémon Online. Things aren't looking good.

It's already 2013, and a new Pokémon game has just been announced. After noticing that the leaked trademark list has been accurate up until this very moment, I began to feel hopeful that for the first time in my life, Jynx will finally be getting the respect she deserves. Judging by the recent leaks, it's pretty much a guarantee that Jynx will be getting a Mega Evolution. I will finally be able to silence the haters and reign supreme using my childhood ally... but all fairy tales come to an end eventually. It's now 9:24 PM on Friday, the night before the game is supposed to be released, and Jynx is literally the only Pokémon on the list whose Mega Stone is nowhere to be found. It's as if Game Freak has been trolling me personally for nearly a decade, and I can't handle the stress anymore. For those of you who currently have the game, I beg of you; do whatever it takes to find Jynxnite. Give me some closure, so I can rest easy knowing that when I wake up to buy my copy of the game tomorrow morning, Mega Jynx will be waving her hips and patiently waiting for my arrival.

Guys, where the hell do I get Pikachu? I'm looking for it in the first forest and I can't find him. I gave up after half an hour. Where is it?
 
Is it confirmed that soft resetting before getting the starters will actually give you a new chance at getting a shiny? Or do you have to restart the entire game file?
 
Hey guys is there a way to only allow Wonder-Trade to communicate with English Pokemon Trainers that have English named Pokemon? I do not understand Korean/Japanese etc and it looks odd next to my English Pokemon.

I'm sure if you just try and put this out of your mind, it'll be found when you least expect it. Right now you're jynxing it.
 
Ha. Playing in Japanese, named my character Camille "ka-mi- - -ru", and now my nickname Camichi. "Ka mi chi". I am a road of power.

EDIT: I thought of making it "Kamiya" in keeping with their naming scheme, but screw that, I'm going for Shiny Fenny!

Will do haha. So I'm on try 45 now. I told myself I'd try like....25 times max, but I'm addicted now. I keep telling myself 1 more try. -_-

Am I able to see if the Starter is shiny when I'm actually making the selection? Like, while the three Pokeballs are at the bottom?

From what I heard, you should be able to see it at the selection screen you're referring to.
 
You get different natures by soft resetting, can't see why shinies wouldn't work

Mine evolved at 17 I think

I have a Litleo and Fletchinder that are one by one getting boxed because I don't need three fire types... yet I'm perfectly happy to have Diggersby and Furfrou at the moment

Is there a Nature that is considered best? If I can't end up getting myself a shiny, I'd at least like to get a Nature that is good.

Also if someone could confirm if you should be able to see the Shiny at the select screen, that would be helpful.

Depends on the Pokemon.
For the starters, I'd say Fennekin and Froakie should be fine as Timid or Modest while Chespin is probably best Adamant or Impish...
