Its in a fire place in one of the top floor rooms at the palace. I thought it looked weird having a pokeball as a decroation so I clicked on it and it was an amulet coin yay for money.
Amulet Coin, XP share, and Return and False Swipe so early makes this game already awesome lol

What rod do you need to get Clauncher on route 8 and when do you get it?
There's never a bad time to jump back in. Learning the new Pokemon's all just a matter of trial and error, anyway.

You're saying that like its a problem. There was one game where no old pokemon appeared in the wild til you beat the elite 4, and the constant stream of surprises was amazing.

Anyone unlock anything noteworthy in LV4+ levels of Super Training?
I'm just making a run through collecting medals and getting one of every evolutionary stone (as per Serebii's challenge breakdown but was wondering what other miscellaneous items you can get.
Thus far, I've managed to get a Hard Stone in the Leaf Stone Cup (no Rock-type pokemon to use it yet, though).
Have also scored some Stardust to sell and some recovery items (Fresh Water, Soda Pop, etc.)
I'm especially interested in other Hold items.

The updated list of recent Mega Evolutions shown the past couple days. Credit to Joe of serebii.net for finding them and taking in-game shots.
It'll be great to see the gallery once we have 400x240 in-game shots for all of the previous Megas (Abomasnow, Gyarados, Gengar, Kangaskhan, Garchomp, Blaziken, Lucario, Ampharos, Absol, Mawile, Mewtwo X, Mewtwo Y, Charizard X, Charizard Y, Blastoise, Venusaur).

Really, you can't go wrong in terms of first gym between the fact that Chespin learns rollout at LV 8 and you can get Torchic from the Mystery Gift.

Cheers. With the Pokémon League giving about 60-70k per run that'll double it and I'll have all of the items from the last boutique in about 7-8 runs.

BDSMnette is wack as hell.
you only need to unlock them once. afterwards every pokemon can use the unlocked ones.
Ok, good. So I can just level up all my games with some pokemon I don't care about and then go from there. Good.

I just unlocked all the levels and bagged all the medals with my Froakie.
Then used a Reset Bag to reset his EVs and trained him up properly.

Do we have an accurate base stat total for Chesnaught and Greninja yet? Hard to choose between the two without more information.
If you get a Reset Bag, then yes. They're not that hard to get either, though it's a bit RNG (you can get random bags by hitting training bags in Core Training, including the default bag that has no other effect on your pokemon).

Apart from Reset Bags being randomly generated and somewhat uncommon that's really all there is to it. Once I got one, resetting the EVs was a mere formality.
I might test it later.

Hey I just played Tera for a year - I'm pretty hardened to RNG after that. Cool to know, shame none of my quest monsters have worthwhile Natures.

Yeah, those were brought up at Smogon.
There seems to be a big point of contention on whether Greninja has a higher Special Attack score versus Physical Attack.
They're rather insistent on Special rating better and I'm inclined to trust them due to their rep until we get official numbers from another resource.

I'll be looking into Super Training later I think. A friend was explaining it to me on Facebook earlier but I wasn't really reading what he was saying.
Hopefully you can use it after you achieve the base 100 EVs via Protein etc.

Is there any confirmation on increased shiny chances? I caught a Shiny Scraggy in a horde today, my second shiny catch in like 500+ hrs of play over the different games.

So everybody agrees that they'll add more legendaries through SpotPass, right? Gen V had 13, X&Y so far have only 3.
Many base stats around are just wrong. I dislike that they're being put forward as accurate when they're just estimations which is why I haven't posted any yet.
I am working on it though...the guide on Super Training helps, but I won't be able to be sure til we see how the guide does it and I can compare
