Don't worry, OP. I was friendzoned in college, but this girl was a bit more physical:

-She would let me touch her ass asking me if it was still wet from her run
-She wrapped her legs around my waist during midterm exam once
-Rest her head on my shoulders during our class in the mornings
-Would tell me how she's gonna miss me

Of course I started acting like Archer, and she said she thought I was being orginal, and that's why she started to find me attractive.

Anyway, I confessed my feelings to her in the car one night months later, and she thought it was a joke and starting laughing. Her friends and my friends were confused when they would ask if I still dating the girl from college.

She may've been an attention goon. Seriously, I've never seen so many phyiscal signals as the aforementioned above before, and I never had a girls that were friends do that to me, too.

It hurts, and I thought I would never get it over it since I thought she was perfect, but you know what? I've never done that to a girl before, I learned my mistakes, and have met even more awesome women, although they were more like flings than relationships.

Yes. I was kind of thinking she arranged for him to be there, in case OP showed up with a pair of pliers and a roll of duct tape. He comes over to make sure everything's okay, she gives him the "OK," and he goes. No offense meant..a girl can't be too careful these days.

She's a close friend and that's not changing despite plenty here thinking otherwise.

I'm gonna listen to some of the advice here(yeah laugh all you want) and try and keep my distance for a little while, doubt we're gonna manage it though, we're just too close.

Crazy as this may sound given my actions, I think we'll have a strictly platonic relationship. I'm getting over it anyway, feel far better than when I first made this thread. Maybe the venting helped. Off to bed now.

I don't know how the area around the university is. If it's anything like mine, it's an urban area with lots of stores, restaurants, etc. including a mall. It just seems very coincidental considering he always seems to be around when you're with her.

He could be very overprotective. She could be concerned and asked him to make it seem like he's there to see a movie. Maybe he was intending to see a movie, but used the opportunity to 'check up' on her. Then again, maybe it's all coincidence and it's like you said.

Something doesn't add up. Was he finished with the movie when you two ran into him? Because didn't you say he was at the library sitting across from you two after the mall?

This is one of the few things that truly piss me off about women in general.

If you're not into a guy in *that* way, don't EVER engage in physical contact that can be interpreted as "I want you" or anything relatively close to that. Most guys would feel betrayed and lead on, and rightfully so!
