GameFreak really made a huge step forward in how they handled breeding this generation. Destiny Knot and the Safari Zone are makes building a competitive team not so discouraging. Obsessing over IVs has always been such a bother, but I've always been compelled to keep pushing for the best. Now it shouldn't take longer than a day of dedicated hatching for me to breed the right Pokemon.

Just another reminder that pretty soon I'll be giving away all of my Aipoms I've been breeding. They all share the following stats:

Nature: Jolly
Ability: Run Away (Technician upon evolution)
Perfect IVs: Attack, Speed (some have more)
Pokeball Cosmetic: Quick Ball (tried for Master Ball--wouldn't work)
Egg Moves: Beat Up (some also have Fake Out)

dddddd not when I spent all last night breeding and ev training an Ambipom. I couldn't manage to get a Jolly nature so I settled with Adamant. I think I may have to take you up on this offer. However, I'm quite picky about the original trainer for my Pokémon, I prefer to have it as my player character. If I breed one of these Aipoms with a Ditto, will it keep the IVs?

I wouldn't be surprised if they're no longer selling companion book Pokedex and instead just updating the Pokedex apps for 3DS, Android and iPhone from now on. It lets them add the mythicals and third version/remake changes later without having to issue a reprint and annoying everyone.

The Aipoms I send you won't have the best IVs. At the least they'll have perfect Attack and Speed, like I mentioned, but that still leaves room for 4 other IVs to inherit that, more than likely, aren't so great. You'll probably benefit most from my Aipom because of its nature. Give it an Everstone when you breed it with a Ditto, and 100% of the offspring will retain the Jolly nature. I'll give you a male, too, since I'm not too sure how female egg move inheritance works, and that'll probably work best with Ditto breeding.

I imagine you'll have to breed for quite a bit more, but the end result will be better for you. And, in the end, your perfect Aipom won't have my name shown, haha. (That bothers me too. Can't handle it.)

They could do what they did for Platinum and release a mega guide with the Pokedex included. Kinda doubtful now since I imagine they are making a good deal of money splitting it up and selling a new Pokedex with every new set of games.

Not that I saw, and it's a fucking pain in the ass. I'd try flying between Laverre and Ambrette. Check the routes leading out from one then fly to the other.

Is there a trick to getting the EV reset bags? My exp share fucked up my Evs and now my Blastoise and Venasaur have much too many HP points.
