Eh, the timing of the releases is a little different.

Usually the first guide would be out when the game comes out and the second one would come out in the next month.

This time, the first guide is coming out one to two weeks after the game is out and the second guide is coming 3 months after the game comes out. It's pretty sad there's that long of a wait.

Those can only be caught in the friend Safari so they'll have 2 perfect IVs guaranteed.

Way too many gimmicky teams based entirely around stalling (I just spent literally 10 minutes trying to kill a Walrein who did nothing the entire match but Stockpile and Rest - not to mention his Mandibuzz buddy who spammed Roost and never attacked once).

To my understanding, IVs are initial values when a Pokemon hatches. Having them add up to 31 is optimal and means they'll scale up best as the Pokemon levels up. Is this right?

How can we know what a Pokemon's IVs are when caught above level 1?
